00:34in the senatorial race for the 2025 election.

00:41and ACT-CIS Partylist Representative Erwin Tulfo.

00:46Good day Melanne. Thank you for inviting me in your show. Thank you.

00:50Erwin, let's start. In just a few weeks, it's the campaign period

00:55and you are part of the alliance for the new Philippines of the Marcos administration.

01:00Can you give us a walkthrough?

01:02How will your alliance be discussed given that you are from different parties,

01:07you have your own roles, what will be the discussion of your alliance in the campaign?

01:14Initially, twice a week, we have two days a week where the group will meet with PBBM.

01:28He is our endorser.

01:30So if there's an activity, we will be there. We will meet in one place.

01:35If PBBM has an activity, we will be with him for only two days.

01:40The rest of the week, like the five days, we will be with each other.

01:44And Erwin, we know that until now, congratulations, you are still number one in the survey.

01:51How do you maintain this?

01:55Are we confident that this will continue in the election as a result of the election?

02:00Not really, because it's hard.

02:03The more you have to work hard, Mela, not because people think that you are okay,

02:11that you are number one, that they chose you,

02:14you really need to fight for it. You have to double your effort.

02:19And Erwin, aside from the election, because you are still a congressman for a few months,

02:27what are your plans? Do you have anything else that you want to achieve?

02:31Or are there any plans that you want to push to pass before the 19th Congress?

02:38Actually, there are a lot, Mela.

02:41The review of the Solo Parent Act.

02:45Because until now, the law has been in effect for two years,

02:48but most of our solo parents have not received an allowance.

02:52If you have diabetes, chronic, you need to be classified as PWD,

03:04especially those who are three times a week on dialysis, because it's expensive if you are diabetic.

03:09Once you are elected, if you become a senator,

03:15what are the priorities of the people that will be your priority bills?

03:19The bills that will not be passed in Congress, I will put them there, of course.

03:24Like what I am telling you, if it is not possible, because there is a time constraint.

03:30Our other lawmakers are also busy.

03:33This is also a saying, the campaign is coming.

03:36So, we will follow up. We will file it there

03:39or we will follow up in Congress so that those bills that are necessary and important can be passed.
