00:00Intz presented the annual report in Naples.
00:26First and foremost, the new study by TEA Group
00:30traces the Italian roadmap to recover from the Gap.
00:34In Rome, the 11th Observatory on Tax Entries and Welfare Funding was presented.
00:40Manager Italia Lombardia celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Group Manager for Social Affairs.
00:46Allianz Assicurazioni presents the third edition of the Edufin Index,
00:51Italian insufficient financial and insurance knowledge.
00:55The 2024 Deloitte Stem Observatory certifies that Europe is still behind in the spread of scientific studies.
01:08In the last five years, the campaign has registered the highest number of insured Intz,
01:13those who pay the contributions, which currently represent 7% of the national total,
01:19equal to about 2 million positions. Of these, more than 500,000 are young under 34, plus 9%,
01:25or 42,000 positions more than in 2019.
01:30A clear sign that highlights a change of pace in the labor market,
01:34which is confirmed also in the increase in the weeks worked, 41.3% in 2023 compared to 40.6% in 2019.
01:45In the average salary of just over 20,000 euros per capita, an increase of 7% compared to 2019.
01:54These are some of the dates of the 23rd annual report of the INPS presented to Naples
01:58at the Department of Social Sciences of the University of the Studies of Naples, Federico II.
02:04It is the first stage of the Tour of the Dissemination by the President of the Annual Relationship.
02:12I chose Naples because it is the heart of a series of important characteristics
02:19that then spread throughout the national territory.
02:22So it is a city in which it is very important to follow the progress of the labor market.
02:28Contributive income is growing. In the campaign, it is growing more than the national average.
02:34And it is very important information for the Institute because, as you know,
02:40the Italian providential system is distributed,
02:43the benefits are delivered by attracting the contributions of those who work.
02:48We have many, many people who are out of the world of work.
02:57In the campaign, as a bit throughout the day, it is important to be able to include them
03:03precisely to increase the growth, the collection of contributions
03:08and to counteract the phenomenon of denaturalization,
03:11which in the long term could have an impact on sustainability.
03:15The remedy is to increase employment.
03:18There are important data, both on social assistance and providential services.
03:26The numbers are always growing.
03:28This year, we had an important number of inclusions in the city of Naples throughout the campaign.
03:35We are around 25% of the entire national territory.
03:39We also have significant numbers in social benefits, such as social assistance,
03:46in which we are around 10%.
03:48From Naples comes the reassurances of the President of INPS, Gabriele Fava,
03:52on the sustainability of the providential system
03:55to guarantee a sustainable providential system,
03:58it is essential to act on the input side,
04:01using various levers that can increase the number of employed workers,
04:06in particular young people and women.
04:08From the data of the report, it emerges that the youth employment has increased.
04:12The number of insured people in INPS has grown in the last quarter of half a million,
04:17but the condition of young people with careers of discontinuity and lower returns
04:22compared to the average remains an open question,
04:25especially in comparison with the rest of the EU Member States.
04:28For this reason, a large providential education campaign is at the start.
04:34From this report, which I have set up precisely to try to identify a projectuality
04:41that relaunches the institute, which will work in the coming years,
04:46the strategic and projectual lines that I have identified emerge,
04:50that is, first of all, if we want to achieve a sustainable pension system,
04:54there is only one real recipe, a real structural one,
04:59which is to increase the employment base,
05:00therefore to engage young people and therefore to start talking to young people,
05:07but above all to go and create the awareness that they must design their future,
05:14and they design their future starting from the providential state account,
05:18keeping them away from black work, from irregular work.
05:21Only in this way, only in this way,
05:24we will be able to increase contributions and contributions
05:27and to derive a pension system.
05:29I am particularly happy to have the opportunity here today
05:33to present in our Ateneo the annual report of INPS.
05:38I think it is the first time that such a presentation occurs
05:42in our university and in our city.
05:45It is very important that we are all aware of the great importance of this report,
05:51of the possibilities of reflection that open up from these data
05:55and also of the need we have, I believe, as a university and as a territory,
05:59to make very specific reflections
06:02that concern not only the general future of the country,
06:05but also that of the middle of the day of Italy.
06:09With 1.2 billion euros of investments,
06:11Italy can reduce dependence from abroad for raw materials
06:15by almost a third, generating more than 6 billion euros
06:19of added value for the 2040 sector.
06:22This is one of the main evidences
06:24that emerged in Rome at the Roadmap Italiana event
06:27for raw materials organized by IREN,
06:30where the study commissioned by the group was presented
06:33and carried out by a team of experts.
06:35The industry of Made in Italy,
06:37in the most advanced and sophisticated industries,
06:40which are those of mechatronics, robotics, electronics,
06:44in these areas, without raw materials,
06:47we will not be able to be competitive,
06:50indeed, we will not be able to be, period.
06:53We will not be able to realize the advanced technological solutions
06:58typical of Made in Italy in these competitive areas.
07:02It is essential to have raw materials
07:04to support our industrial production
07:07and we undergo an infraction procedure
07:10and we do not create that minimum value that is easier to obtain.
07:15But all of Europe has a serious dependence from abroad,
07:18especially from China,
07:20which produces 56% of the raw materials imported in the EU.
07:24As the study shows,
07:25the gap of investments between Europe and China is huge.
07:29The study traces a path of development for Italy
07:32in which raw materials are already a key element
07:35for national competitiveness,
07:37contributing to 690 billion euros of industrial production in the country,
07:42equal to 32% of the Italian GDP,
07:44which corresponds to the highest incidence
07:46on the internal product of the GDP compared to other countries.
07:49IREN is a candidate to be one of those instruments
07:53of the Italian country system
07:55that makes the system more resilient.
07:57Think that a third of the Italian GDP
07:59depends on the raw materials.
08:01What we want in IREN
08:03is not only to make the system more independent,
08:05but also to create a new unit of business operation.
08:07For us it is a business activity,
08:09as well as an activity that allows us
08:11to increase our environmental profile,
08:13therefore further improve the recovery factor of waste
08:15and value them in things that are more sustainable.
08:17So, we are a candidate to be one of those instruments
08:19of the Italian country system
08:21that makes the system more resilient.
08:23So, we are a candidate to be one of those instruments
08:25of the Italian country system
08:27that allows us
08:29to increase our environmental profile,
08:31therefore further improve the recovery factor of waste
08:33and value them in things that are more sustainable.
08:35To increase and support the industrial competitiveness
08:37of the country in this area,
08:39there are four operational strategies.
08:41Mineral exploration,
08:43partnerships with African countries,
08:45refinement and treatment,
08:47and the use of recovered materials
08:49in industrial productions.
08:53The first one is to hire someone.
08:55Out of 42 million declarants,
08:57more than 75% of the entire IRPF
08:59is paid by about 10 million contributors
09:01and the remaining 32
09:03pay only 24.43%.
09:05and the remaining 32
09:07pay only 24.43%.
09:09It is how much emerges from the 11th Observatory
09:11on Tax Entrances and Welfare Financing
09:13at the Center for Study and Research
09:15of Provincial Itineraries,
09:17made with the support of CIDA,
09:19the Italian Confederation of Directors
09:21and presented to the House of Representatives.
09:23What we still see today
09:25What we still see today
09:27is a lack of courage
09:29to address a theme
09:31that for us is fundamental,
09:33which is the right
09:35merit to the middle class.
09:37The middle class
09:39is continually humiliated,
09:41we see it under
09:43the tax authority
09:45over 75,000 euros,
09:47we see it under the fact
09:49that still
09:51a slice of the Italians,
09:53if we think of 5%,
09:55which is over 55,000 euros,
09:57pays an IRPF income
09:59of 40%.
10:01This means
10:03that it is an unfathomable situation,
10:05that is, few people
10:07pay for everything.
10:09Although Italy is among the first 5 countries in the world
10:11for welfare, the cost for the latter
10:13is increasingly complex to sustain.
10:15This research is done
10:17to understand how much
10:19the country manages to finance
10:21this welfare, which is quite generous.
10:23What emerges
10:25is, to simplify the data a little,
10:27that 40%
10:29of the population
10:31charges
10:33more than 90%
10:35of all taxes
10:37and the rest pays
10:39about 8% of the IRPF.
10:41So it is a country
10:43a little unbalanced where
10:45to finance
10:47the forms of welfare
10:49is increasingly complicated.
10:51In the manoeuvre, the government also thinks of the middle class,
10:53as explained by the Italian strength group
10:55to the House of Representatives,
10:57Paolo Barelli.
10:59The government is already proposing
11:01and implementing
11:03in the manoeuvre
11:05of 2025,
11:07which is under discussion in Parliament,
11:09a possible
11:11cut of the
11:13income tax
11:15for income
11:17up to 50,000 euros.
11:19We hope to be able,
11:21with the fiscal agreement,
11:23to have the amounts to reach up to
11:2560,000 euros of income,
11:27therefore a cut of 2 points
11:29from 35% of income
11:31to 33%.
11:35There are more than 300 managers
11:37of Manager Italia Lombardia
11:39who, in the 25 years since the birth
11:41of the group Manager per il Sociale,
11:43have given life to 383 specific projects
11:45related to the third sector
11:47Milanese.
11:49To their volunteering activities,
11:51ranging from organization to marketing
11:53up to training, and to the 25th
11:55anniversary of the birth of the group
11:57Manager per il Sociale,
11:59celebrations were held
12:01on the occasion of the Assembly
12:03of Manager Italia Lombardia.
12:05Satisfaction for a quarter of a century
12:07of closeness to the third sector
12:10Today we celebrate
12:12the 25th anniversary of the birth of the group
12:14which is a very important achievement.
12:16It has been 25 years
12:18of constant growth
12:20both in terms of
12:22participation
12:24of our managers
12:26and also
12:28of collaboration
12:30with the entities
12:32of the third sector and the organizations
12:34that take care
12:36of the social sector.
12:38Applause to the activities of the group
12:40Manager per il Sociale
12:42came also from the president of Manager Italia Lombardia
12:44Paolo Scarpa.
12:46This group for Manager Italia Lombardia
12:48is really a point of pride.
12:50We have many working groups
12:52each with its own peculiarities
12:54but of course this group
12:56which has anticipated the times
12:58also for what concerns the world of ESG
13:00etc.
13:02represents for us
13:04a point of pride
13:06that involves
13:08many of our associates
13:10we have more than 300
13:12that voluntarily lend
13:14their skills, their experience
13:16for the entities of the third sector
13:18so for Manager Italia Lombardia
13:20it is really a reason of pride
13:22and a reason to
13:24always have the incentive
13:26to continue also for the future.
13:28The expectations for the future
13:30are close to the celebrations
13:32so far made by the group.
13:34ESG will be and will continue
13:36to be more and more significant
13:38more and more important
13:40and an important link
13:42between
13:44the entities of the third sector
13:46companies, finance
13:48public administration
13:50and also universities.
14:00The financial and insurance knowledge
14:02of the Italians
14:04is not enough
14:06the data emerged
14:08from the third edition
14:10of Edufin Index
14:12the Observatory on the awareness
14:14on the financial and insurance
14:16behaviours of the Italians
14:18at the heart of the Allianz Assicurazioni
14:20company of General Italia
14:22is made with the participation
14:24of Mario Gasbari
14:26and the scientific collaboration
14:28of SDA Bocconi.
14:30The financial and insurance knowledge
14:32of the Italians is now blocked
14:34at an insufficient 56 out of 100.
14:36The Edufin Index 2024
14:38confirms a gender gap
14:40around 5 points
14:42in favour of women
14:44a geographical gap
14:46between north and south
14:48of about 4 points
14:50and a generation gap
14:52that sees the very young
14:5418-24 years old
14:56with scores of about
14:58and we firmly believe
15:00that financial education
15:02is a step in this direction
15:04because in the end
15:06the use of savings
15:08is precisely this bridge
15:10between the present and the future.
15:12On the occasion of the presentation
15:14of the results of the Edufin Index 2024
15:16was also given the prize
15:18Edufin Index Women
15:20at its first edition.
15:22Financial education is a central element
15:24for an exercise full of citizenship rights
15:26We wanted to award three realities
15:28for their capacity
15:30of social innovation
15:32to have put at the center
15:34their own initiatives
15:36of women's financial empowerment
15:38and also for the impact
15:40they had on projects.
15:42Compared to previous generations
15:44Generation Z has a higher level
15:46of financial socialization.
15:48In addition, compared to the past
15:50parents devote more time
15:52to financial education to their children.
15:54We are trying to do something
15:56at school. We have families
15:58who are trying to replace
16:00where the school has not intervened
16:02but we are in a situation
16:04that must be resolved
16:06as soon as possible.
16:08For this reason, school and digital
16:10can give us an important hand.
16:12We have to do something.
16:14Central in promoting the financial education
16:16of young people is the involvement of schools
16:18as provided by the Capital Law.
16:20What we are doing
16:22in relation to this novelty
16:24within the school
16:26is to follow, as an association
16:28together with AIF, the Italian Association
16:30of Financial Educators, a project
16:32already in this school year
16:34where we are going to put
16:36in common our skills
16:38as a private institution that
16:40works with the public sector
16:42and therefore put in common our skills
16:44and support teachers
16:46in their training and the boys
16:48to have all the answers
16:50so that this novelty
16:52can take place in a complete way.
16:58STEM skills are increasingly important
17:00for the competitiveness of the UEE
17:02but in the whole Old Continent
17:04only 26.6% of students
17:06are enrolled in tertiary education
17:08courses in the technical-scientific field.
17:10This is what emerges from the report
17:12Observatorio STEM 2024
17:14Empowering the Multiple Transition
17:16through STEM Skills,
17:18made by the Deloitte Foundation
17:20and the Deloitte Public Policy Program,
17:22is based on over 11,000 interviews
17:24with young people and companies
17:26made in 10 UEE countries.
17:28This year the title includes
17:30the theme of the energy
17:32and digital transition
17:34because it has emerged as the contribution
17:36of STEM subjects
17:38and will be fundamental to face
17:40these challenges, not only on the side
17:42of companies but also on the side
17:44of institutions and on the side
17:46of the entire society and the systems
17:48of the countries involved,
17:50will be able to benefit
17:52from a greater relationship
17:54of STEM skills.
17:56A company out of two
17:58finds it difficult
18:00to find STEM resources.
18:02The shortage is particularly acute
18:04in some strategic areas
18:06such as ICT.
18:08Students enrolled in this sub-set
18:10represent only 19.5%
18:12of the total STEM
18:14population.
18:40The role of the family
18:42is important for all students
18:44but it is particularly significant
18:46for those who choose to study
18:48technical-scientific studies.
18:50The structural shortcomings
18:52that we have encountered
18:54require a synergistic and coordinated
18:56action of all the operators
18:58of the educational system,
19:00from universities, institutions
19:02to companies, but also the third sector
19:04and above all families.
19:06Only in this way can an effective
19:08action be proposed.
19:10If you look at the evidence of the relationship,
19:12in one case out of two,
19:14it leads young people to believe
19:16that they do not undertake
19:18educational and professional STEM paths
19:20because they consider them too complex
19:22or simply do not feel comfortable.
19:24From the study, it emerges that
19:26according to young workers,
19:28the sectors in which STEM can make a greater contribution
19:30are science, health and medicine
19:32for 43%, energy autonomy
19:34for 38%
19:36and artificial intelligence and machine learning
19:38for 32%.
19:40Transformation Green
19:42Companies and projects
20:06Transformation Green
20:08Companies and projects
20:10that can make a difference
20:12Foresta Levissima
20:14deforestation in Val di Fiemme
20:16after the vague storm
20:38Transformation Green
20:40Investments and strategies
20:42that is included in the format of the
20:44ADN Cromos Q&A agency.
20:46The meeting, which took place
20:48at the Palazzo delle Informazioni in Rome,
20:50saw the participation of institutions
20:52and corporate leaders to make the point
20:54on how to act on change.
20:56Investments, especially in innovation,
20:58are those that allow the discovery
21:00of new ways of doing business,
21:02of managing the production processes,
21:04of supply chains,
21:06logistics,
21:08in such a way as to make the economic system
21:10strong and competitive,
21:12while safeguarding,
21:14as much as possible,
21:16the sustainability
21:18of the environment in which we live.
21:20In the field of sustainability,
21:22Italy stands out
21:24with important examples.
21:26Paradoxically, we were contacted
21:28as CONOU to explain
21:30how our model of success works
21:32from countries in the south of the world,
21:35so I believe that we can
21:37make sustainability not only
21:39within our countries, but also
21:41bring sustainability to the rest of the world.
21:43Competitiveness and environmental challenges
21:45have in common an answer,
21:47investments.
21:49Like Coca-Cola Capesci d'Italia,
21:51since 2010 we have invested
21:53half a billion euros in the country,
21:55and this, of course, with special attention
21:57to industrial activities
21:59and our six production plants
22:01distributed in five regions of the country.
22:03Which area?
22:05The environmental area,
22:07so we have invested in everything
22:09related to new technologies
22:11related to packaging,
22:13so recycled raw materials,
22:15new processes, new infrastructures
22:17that allow us to save energy,
22:19a lower use of water,
22:21and a lower use of virgin raw materials.
22:23We have also increased the recycled raw materials
22:25with a plant dedicated to this
22:27with 30 million investments in Piedmont.
22:29Digitalization is an integral part
22:31of social sustainability.
22:33This challenge is translated
22:35into the need to contribute
22:37in a green thinking
22:39and in harmony
22:41with the ecosystem
22:43constituted also by other actors,
22:45from local authorities
22:47to administrations, to institutions,
22:49to the development
22:51of environmental sustainability,
22:53but also and above all
22:55to the development of social sustainability
22:57and of digital sustainability
22:59through a contribution
23:01that constitutes
23:03the necessary budget
23:05for the development of infrastructures
23:07aimed at guaranteeing
23:09the development of digital public services
23:11that meet
23:13the real needs of people.
23:15Sustainability
23:17translates into a new concept
23:19of quality for companies.
23:21Entering a new way of managing the company
23:23is an analysis of risk management
23:25and it also allows
23:27to have financial and banking
23:29facilitations,
23:31in addition to a reputational position.
23:33So it is the new key concept
23:35to take action
23:37in 2024.
23:39Between 27 and 30 October 2018,
23:41in large areas
23:43of northern and central Italy,
23:45the Baja storm hit
23:47the Italian forest heritage
23:49with the destruction of about
23:5142,800 hectares of forests
23:53in several regions.
23:55In the original territory of its water,
23:57Levissima launched,
23:59together with the forestry consortium
24:01Alta Valtellina, the municipality of Val di Sotto
24:03and the University of Milan Studies,
24:05an important project
24:07for the regeneration of affected areas
24:09through a series of activities
24:11such as reforestation,
24:13removal of fallen trees,
24:15bioengineering projects and biodiversity protection.
24:17Six years after the extreme meteorological event,
24:19Levissima renews
24:21its commitment to environmental regeneration
24:23of affected territories
24:25with Foresta Levissima in Val di Fiemme,
24:27a reforestation project
24:29that covers 4 hectares of one of the most affected
24:31territories by the storm,
24:33with the aim of planting 6,000 new trees.
24:35The project of Foresta Levissima
24:37is particularly important for us
24:39because it is a simple but concrete
24:41and tangible action that will allow us
24:43to have a positive impact on the planet,
24:45starting from the forests,
24:47which are the green lung of our ecosystem.
24:49But to really make a difference,
24:51we need the help of all of you
24:53and that is why we invite people
24:55to join the movement
24:57by participating in our new community
24:59on rigeneriamoinsieme.it
25:01where people
25:03can join our projects
25:05including Foresta Levissima,
25:07helping us to repopulate
25:09this forest area
25:11so strongly impacted by climate change.
25:13The initiative therefore represents
25:15a further step in the path
25:17of sustainability of Levissima.
25:19Sustainability has always been
25:21at the heart of everything we do
25:23and communicate, and it is part of
25:25a broader commitment
25:27aimed at protecting nature,
25:29protecting the territory and communities,
25:31starting from the mountains,
25:33where our water comes from.
25:35The Foresta Levissima project
25:37was also possible thanks to the collaboration
25:39with Vaia, a young start-up committed
25:41to the regeneration of local communities
25:43and natural resources.
25:45Imagine a world where people
25:47can make a difference
25:49and have the opportunity to do so.
25:51All this is Vaia,
25:53a start-up we created to give value
25:55to the territory, communities
25:57and nature.
25:59Not to remove, but to give back,
26:01to restore.
26:03And today we do it with Levissima,
26:05our partner to rebuild a forest
26:07that is the forest that lives
26:09in the Fiemme Valley
26:11with the project of Rigeneriamo Insieme.
26:13To make the reforestation activity
26:15even more successful,
26:17through the sustainability platform
26:19Rigeneriamo Insieme,
26:21created to involve people
26:23in the safeguarding of the environment
26:25and to allow anyone to contribute
26:27in a concrete way to the protection
26:29of the mountain and planet ecosystems.
26:31In detail, for each purchase
26:33through the platform of the natural
26:35smartphone amplifier, built by local
26:37artisans with the wood cut down and
26:39recovered, the Vaia Cube,
26:41a new tree will be planted in order
26:43to regenerate the territory and the ecosystem.
