00:13With Tropical Storm Marcy poised to make landfall in a few hours, the President told his men

00:18and women in the Cabinet to go on high alert and be ready for action or disaster contingency

00:23response at all times.

00:25The President stressed the need for a reliable and high-functioning communications system

00:29that sends weather advisories and conveys accurate and latest information to the public

00:34for timely and prompt on-the-ground response.

00:37Again, he instructed a 24-7 monitoring on water levels and waterways, reservoirs and

00:44impoundment structures.

00:46He also directed agency authorities to have pre-positioned relief supplies and items ready

00:51for dispatch distribution to affected locations.

00:55Likewise, he also instructed the Department of Transportation and the DPWH to be on standby

01:00status for road-clearing operations at a moment's notice.

01:04He also commended and extended his heartfelt thanks to the rescue and recovery teams and

01:08the medical personnel who patiently wait and work hard and fast to provide first aid and

01:14life-saving medicines and treatment.

01:18And in news overseas, over 200 million Americans and U.S. citizens took to the nearest polling

01:24centers to exercise their most sacred right of suffrage and their freedom to choose the

01:29next leader and tenant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

02:06In terms of the total platform that she's running on, I think it creates a better, more

02:10secure future for my daughter.

02:13And frankly, I want my daughter to grow up in a world where it's the norm for a woman

02:17to be president.

02:18Florida voter Ricky Suyono says he backs Donald Trump.

02:21I believe in the economy.

02:24I felt like, you know, there are a lot of job losses right now because I believe Trump

02:32gave an incentive to U.S. companies to hire American workers versus outsourcing the job

02:41to other companies.

02:42New York voter Keisha Marcelin says she voted for Harris.

02:46Because I am a black woman, so it's kind of obvious who I need to vote for because

02:51this is not everyone's life on the line.

02:54This is black women's life, women's reproductive health, just everybody's life on the line.

03:00And this is important.

03:01Georgia voter Michael Geisler says he wants a second term for Trump.

03:05I just think he's the best, you know, option for the American country.

03:10He's kind of the candidate that spoke to me.

03:13I wasn't old enough to vote when he first got elected, but I liked how his policies,

03:17his economic policies and how my life was while he was president.

03:21And then during the last four years under Biden, it's been financially difficult.

03:26I don't like where the country is going.

03:27Texas voter Tinashe Mokone also backs Trump.

03:30Well, he does have his shortcomings.

03:33I mean, his character, we don't even have to go into detail.

03:37He is a lot of things.

03:41When it comes to moving the country forward, like getting the country to regain its dominant

03:49status, he's my best piece.

03:52A record number of people voted before Election Day in a contest that political polling shows

03:57is a close race between Trump and Harris.

04:13In the Philippines, the military has discovered a gun, improvised explosive device, and personal

04:21equipment of the New People's Army in Sitio Babacong, Barangay Pabrica, Balbalan, Kalinga.

04:27A report from the 5th Infantry Division, Philippine Army, has been issued by the NPA, which is

04:36the Long-Range Patrol, which is the operational team of the 103rd Infantry Battalion.

04:44The investigation was initiated by the local authority, the KLG Bagas, and the Ilocos Cordillera

04:51Regional Committee in 2022.

04:54It is expected that the 5th ID will be released soon, which is a group of armed men who are
