00:00So, Charlie, starting with Wolves, obviously, another game where they led at one of the
00:06stages, obviously, coming back from 1-0 down. Quite a hostile Molyneux there on Saturday
00:13and, you know, ends 2-2. Another draw, another game where Wolves have maybe come off it and
00:20thought, you know, it should have been so different with a win and a win changes so
00:25much here that they, you know, go into the Southampton game. It's a massive game in terms
00:29of their lead position, where they want to be this season and also Gary O'Neill's future.
00:35Absolutely. I think time is definitely running out now for Gary O'Neill. There was this whole
00:39talk of the fixture run at the start of the season, how difficult it was, and people could
00:43understand why Wolves were doing so badly. But now, having played likes of Brentford
00:48and Brighton's not easy, but a lot easier than so many of the teams Wolves have played
00:52and then Crystal Palace at home as well, a Palace team that have been really struggling
00:55at the start of this new season. You've got to pick up a win from somewhere and to have
00:59three points out of an available 30 is just unacceptable. And Gary O'Neill's win rate
01:05is only in the low 30 percents, whereas the likes of Lopetegui and Bruno Large, they were
01:11a lot higher before they were sacked or before they left, rather, within Lopetegui's case.
01:15So, yeah, I think the pressure is definitely growing on him now, O'Neill, and his comments
01:18after the game against Crystal Palace as well, talking about how the crowd weren't quite
01:22behind them and how they're going to try and rebel against that and just carry on despite
01:28the frustrations. It's as if that connection maybe is starting to disappear a little bit.
01:33We saw earlier in the season the fans would stick around and they've always been behind
01:37the players no matter what. So it is a bit strange for O'Neill to start criticising the
01:41fans for not quite being there towards the end. A bit of a strange one. Maybe he's starting
01:45to feel the pressure a bit more now.
01:47Yeah, and if he is to obviously lose against Southampton, you do think Fosun then have
01:52a big decision to make. It's obviously then approaching the international break where
01:56you rewind a couple of seasons and this was the same situation where Wolves were managerless
02:01going into that time. It's probably the right time to dismiss him. And if it is the right
02:07time, following a poor result at Southampton, who maybe could come in for Wolves? There's
02:12not many options out there that would take this job on and be really encouraging to try
02:19and keep them in the Premier League.
02:21Yeah, I think that's the worrying thing is who really is out there at the moment that
02:24would be able to take this Wolves job or want to take this Wolves job? I suppose you've
02:28got Graham Potter, but is he going to make that step down when he's been rejecting some
02:32massive offers from the likes of Ajax a few months ago, dismissed talk of the England
02:37job and then kind of got himself back into the conversation and didn't get it? So I'm
02:41not sure if he'd really drop down into a relegation fight. That's probably not his
02:44next job if he wants to come back into football management anytime soon. David Moyes is still
02:50available after leaving West Ham United, but once again, he was winning a European competition
02:56just a couple of years ago. Is he going to want to drop down into a relegation fight?
02:59Probably not. You've seen with Cardiff City in the Championships, Rosemary Town in League
03:03One. I know they're a completely different level to Wolves, but they've been really
03:06struggling to appoint a new manager over recent weeks. Just not many options out there or
03:11those that are wanting to take over a club mid-season. You've got to recognise from that,
03:15the incoming manager's point of view, it's a very difficult task to take over and it's
03:19a big risk as well to have a potential relegation on the CV. So I think folks need to think about
03:24that before pulling the plug on O'Neill. But to be honest, something does need to
03:29change if they can't beat Southampton.
