00:00The typhoon Marseille is moving fast and is now in the typhoon category.

00:05And even though the typhoon is still far away in the world,

00:07some places in the country are already under the storm warning signal.

00:12We will know the update on this from weather specialist, Niel Miranda.

00:20This is the latest update on the typhoon Marseille.

00:23The typhoon Marseille is a typhoon that happened as of 10 a.m.

00:27The typhoon Marseille is located at 590 nautical miles from Valero, Aurora.

00:31It has a strong wind of 120 km per hour near the middle

00:35and a gust of 150 km per hour.

00:38It is currently moving in a west-northwest direction at a speed of 30 km per hour.

00:43Because of the typhoon Marseille, we have a high total cyclone wind signal

00:47in the areas of Batanes, Cagayan, along with Baboyan Islands,

00:52Isabela, Ilocos Norte, Apayau, Abra, Calinga, Mountain Province,

00:58Ipugao, northern portion of Nuevo Vizcaya,

01:00northern portion of Quirino, and northern portion of Aurora.

01:05For the weather, expect moderate to heavy rains this afternoon until tomorrow afternoon

01:10in Cagayan.

01:11Meanwhile, tomorrow afternoon until Thursday,

01:14it will be moderate to heavy in Batanes, Cagayan, and Apayau.

01:18On Wednesday until Friday afternoon, it will be intense to torrential in Cagayan,

01:23heavy to intense in Apayau, Ilocos Norte, and Batanes.

01:26Meanwhile, moderate to heavy in Isabela, Abra, Ilocos Sur, Calinga, and Mountain Province.

01:32In the mentioned areas, be careful and be prepared for flooding and landslides.

01:38We have also issued a gale warning to the northern seaboards of Luzon,

01:42particularly in Batanes, Isabela, and Cagayan, along with Baboyan Islands.

01:46It is dangerous to cross the mentioned seaboards.

01:50Based on the latest track of Marce,

01:52it is possible to landfall in the Baboyan Islands or in the northern portion of mainland Cagayan

01:58on Thursday night or on Friday morning.

02:01But due to the uncertainty of the high pressure in the north of Baguio,

02:05this forecast can still change and there is still a chance to landfall in mainland Cagayan or Isabela area.

02:12Marce is likely to landfall in the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Friday night or early Saturday morning.

02:18Here in Metro Manila, it is expected that there will be heavy rains, landslides, and landslides in parts of Maulab to Maulab na Karingtan.
