00:00Let's get into race number four which is the Philly and Mare sprint. Let's go
00:07horse by horse in here. We'll start with the number one Frost at Dawn. They're
00:11kind of taking a shot in here. This is a horse who's better on the grass, more of
00:15a like a turf sprinter, but she's able to get into this race. She actually does
00:19have an okay second on the dirt way back when and she did win on the synthetic so
00:23they know they have a classy horse. They're gonna take a shot with her and
00:26see where she stacks up. The two Kirsten Bosch multiple graded stakes winner but
00:31was fifth in last year's Philly and Mare sprint and she was basically in
00:35like a three horse race last time out. It was a field of four and one of them
00:38pulled up and really wasn't in the race so I just don't know if she's coming
00:43into this race all that well. One magic Philly is a really lightly raced nice
00:48Philly but she's gonna be facing older. She's gonna be facing much much tougher
00:54than she's ever faced before. So while I respect her ability I just think this
00:58is a lot to ask for her right now. So Alexa I'll hand it off to you. Talk a
01:02little bit about the four Pandora's Gift. The four actually is Vava for Cherie
01:07DeVoe. Pandora's Gift I think is the five. Or am I wrong about that? Maybe I have it wrong. But Vava's in the race and is a very fast consistent horse who won the
01:16grade through Chicago over Society and I think Society and Ways and Means are in
01:20here and they could kind of burn each other out and she could really benefit
01:23from the pace scenario. She's run this distance eight times won five of them
01:27and like you said Pandora's Gift is a long shot 30 to 1 odds. Never tried the
01:33Dirt before. Pedigree rating is better for Turf and Synthetic than the Dirt.
01:37Hasn't been able to win a race since they stepped up to graded company. You
01:42know three-year-old going against tougher I'm just not really here for it in here.
01:46That's what partners and friends are for right? Because I had the like well I had
01:52some of the pre-entries up. So I still had horses that were like in their
01:56numbers from last time. So Frosted Dawn we talked about. One Magic Philly we
02:01talked about. Pleasant the three we talked about. And now you got to Vava and
02:05Pandora's Gift. So now we're back on track. The wheels were off for just a
02:09second. Our producers are worried about it and I was the one up here who got all
02:12thrown off a little bit. So now we're caught back up and we're up to the
02:15number six Society. Yes very interesting horse. 3 to 1. I think the morning line
02:19it's a morning line favorite I think. No Ways and Means might be a favorite a
02:24lot more. But they'll probably buy. Yeah and here's the thing about this race with
02:27favorites. They win this race. They've won four out of the last five and seven
02:32out of the last twelve. So this race you know does tend to favor those who who we
02:37expect. And Society will I think likely wire the field. You know she and Ways and
02:43Means are going to be the main contenders in here in my opinion. She'll
02:47likely be the pace setter and Ways and Means could take back a little bit. But
02:51got fourth in this last year after breaking inward and checking. So she
02:54hopefully will get a cleaner trip this time. That's the real key to the race too because
02:58there's a couple horses that are like speed kind of pressers. But the pace is a
03:03little enigmatic in here Berto because we could see a few different
03:07horses going to the lead. A couple could sit. They want to be more forwardly
03:10placed. Talk to us now about the the next horse of seven through nine in here.
03:13Zaytlus is trained by Stephen Asmussen who seems to hold the pace with
03:20Society. The feeling he may be closing which is this number seven. So we'll see
03:26how this is going to play out. Number eight, Soul of Angel. She faced, remember
03:32she faced randomized, idiomatic and Regency. Yes. She's been so good in her
03:39last five races. And she went back to Florida and won for fun. And I think
03:44this is a wheelhouse this distance. So she, I think she can be a big prize in
03:49this race. Number nine, Ways and Means. Remember what I told you early in the
03:55show? Chad Brown. On the dirt. On the dirt. And Chad Brown has won the last two
04:00editions of this race. Good night, Olive. So I think it's, I asked Chad Brown early
04:06this week. Hey, Chad, tell me one of your horses that you want. Who do you
04:11like the most? Give me, who do you want a really good post position? And he say
04:17Ways and Means and the Alzheimer's. There you go. And she got that. That's what
04:20she wanted. I mean, I don't need to know anything else. That's perfect. I got
04:23everything. Because it gives her the options, right? With with her, she's fast,
04:27but that way she can sit off horses and she's not going to be shoved from the
04:31inside. When horses are on the outside of you and they start to go, it gets a
04:35little bit difficult. Remember, Chad Brown and Flavian Pratt, as the two have
04:39won most great races this year in North America. Okay, Berto, give me five
04:44seconds. Who are your top selections here? Ways and Means, number nine. I
04:47will say, you know, 10.76. Alexa, you got Society on top, right? Yeah. 649. I'm
04:53gonna go with the 10 Scylla to the outside. 10.694 for me.
