00:21in the privatization of Lagindingan International Airport

00:25and that is also in accordance with the violation of the PPP Projects Concession Agreement.

00:32The President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. is a witness to the violation of the concession agreement

00:36where he showed the commitment of the government for the continuous development in Northern Mindanao.

00:43According to the Executive Board,

00:44not only will there be a big improvement in the so-called territory of the agreement violated,

00:49but it will also strengthen tourism,

00:52you will have a lot of work and the business will be active.

00:55In a short while, the operation of the so-called territory,

00:59the former 1.6 million passengers per year,

01:02will reach 3.9 million passengers

01:05and when Phase 2 is over,

01:086.3 million passengers per year

01:11can be served by Lagindingan International Airport.

01:15This project aims to expand the airport's capacity

01:18first to 3.9 million per year in the first phase

01:22and eventually to 6.3 million passengers per year

01:26by the end of the second phase.

01:31According to Transportation Undersecretary Roberto Lim,

01:35the government will earn 47 million pesos in the first year

01:38and in the following years while the share of gross revenues will reach 3%.

01:44The government expects a 30-year concession agreement

01:48of 3.766 billion pesos.

01:53And then we have a revenue share of 3% of gross revenues.

01:58We expect to receive 3.766 billion over the concession period.

02:08Aside from Lagindingan International Airport,

02:10the government is also pushing for the privatization of some airports in the country.

02:15Here is Iloilo International Airport

02:17which is just waiting for the approval of NEDA,

02:20Davao International Airport,

02:22as well as Calibo International Airport.

02:28for privatization of possible 7 to 15 more airports in the country.

02:37the government's private target will reach 7 to 15 airports

02:42through the PPP Project Concession Agreement.
