00:00Well, when we look back at the devastation caused by Helene, it could be easy to fall
00:06into despair.
00:07But the pieces are starting to be picked up here across Western North Carolina, especially
00:14an area hard hit by Helene.
00:16And things are looking up.
00:18And one of those ways that we are starting to pick up those pieces is this concert for
00:22Carolina.
00:23And it raised $24.5 million for hurricane victims.
00:28And this event touted some bigger names, Luke Holmes, also Keith Irvin, a Nicole Kidman
00:34appearance.
00:35So all of this money raised to help those in need across these areas.
00:39Again, we are still thinking of you.
00:42And as we head throughout Monday night with your recovery forecast, Boone, you're at 37.
00:47Even Bristol, you're at 43.
00:49So it is going to be a little bit of a chilly night, but clear.
00:51We're not necessarily tracking too much action.
00:53Similar story by Tuesday in areas like St. Petersburg, Asheville, we're at 71.
01:00And as we look at the mountain as the whole, at least the Southern Appalachians, Hickory,
01:03you're even running at 72.
01:05But you'll see those patches of sun there and some patches of clouds, of course, similar
01:09story in Asheville, but not a bad day when it comes to the recovery efforts.
01:14Further south, we could see some showers, but overall, a lot of us do remain dry here
01:19over the next day or so.
01:21We are monitoring of this situation when it does come to the St. Johns River.
01:26The good news is that a lot of these rivers have started to come down, but it is important
01:29to note that rivers across Florida do run a little flatter.
01:35They don't really have a lot of difference in elevation as they go on.
01:39And so while the St. Johns River has dropped from major, it's still in that moderate flood
01:43stage and it's going to continue to do so here over these next few days.
01:49Stick with us.
