00:00House of Representatives rejected Speaker Martin Romualdez's offer of more than Php 400 million for the victims of the Christine earthquake.

00:17The distribution of aid for the victims of the Christine earthquake has been approved.

00:23Yesterday, Speaker Martin Romualdez immediately responded

00:27along with the Ako Bicol Partylist and Tingog Partylist for the needs of those affected by the calamity.

00:34According to Speaker Romualdez, in accordance with President Ferdinand R. Marquez Jr.'s order,

00:39they requested a wide-ranging relief operation.

00:43The Chamber approved the distribution of Php 390 million in cash aid for the 22 districts affected by the earthquake

00:52and they will also distribute relief packages worth Php 21 million.

00:57In total, Php 411 million of aid was distributed by the Congress.

01:03Speaker Romualdez clearly stated the President's directive that no Filipino family will be left behind in helping the government.

01:12They said that they are aware of how difficult the situation is for many of our countrymen

01:16so they are confident that the government's help will reach them.

01:21In Owas, Albay, Albay 3rd District Rep. Fernando Cabredo immediately inspected the areas affected by the earthquake for immediate action.

01:30He specifically visited the damaged roofs and roofs in Barangay Busak.

01:35In Camarines Norte, Camarines Norte 1st District Rep. Josie Taliado was also involved in the DPWH

01:43to resolve the issue of the landslide in the area of Santa Rosa Norte, Jose Panganiban.

01:50While in Bulan, Sorsogon, the relief efforts of Sorsogon 2nd District Rep. Jojo Fortes continued.
