00:00The Office of Civil Defense, or OCD, reported over 47,000 individuals are affected by severe tropical storm Christine in the eastern Visayas.
00:10According to Philippine News Agency's report, the affected population include more than 20,000 individuals from northern Samar,
00:18over 24,000 from eastern Samar, and 2,770 from Samar.
00:24Three people have been reported missing or injured, and 638 individuals have been evacuated.
00:31The OCD said augmentation support is on the way from both national and regional governments.
00:37Meanwhile, regional government entities are fully prepared to respond to the impact of the weather disturbance and to assist storm-hit areas.
00:46The OCD assured readiness to restore vital services and provide assistance in the Bicol region as soon as possible.
