01:11Saint-Gobain inaugurates a new photovoltaic park to teach sustainability.
01:18Cala al Sipario on the book fair of Francoforte 2024.
01:23For our country it was a special edition.
01:26After 36 years, Italy has returned to play the prestigious role of guest of honor.
01:31And he did it in style.
01:33With a program of meetings, literary and professional, Italy has planted its roots in the future.
01:40A beautiful adventure, challenging, exciting.
01:45It went well because this desire for Italy, which we had perceived and met along the way,
01:52has found satisfaction.
01:54The square, the porticoes, the exhibitions.
01:57Every door that opened, walking under the porticoes of our square, was a discovery, a wonder.
02:04It created amazement.
02:06To see people get excited in front of Pompei's finds.
02:11To see people discover that the Treccani is not just dusty volumes in a bookshop,
02:19but it is the book of the future.
02:22We made volume around the heart of the book fair, which is the rights of the author.
02:29It is the meeting between those involved in the works that must publish,
02:32sell the rights of a book rather than another.
02:34Italy, the protagonist of the book fair, has brought to the attention of the international public
02:39more than 90 writers and more than 230 publishing houses and literary agencies,
02:45of which 131 in the Italian collective stand organized by ICE,
02:49Agency for Foreign Promotion and Internationalization of the Italian Enterprise,
02:54in collaboration with the Italian association Editori Aie.
02:58At this moment, however, we are next to our editors.
03:03It is a party, a party of the book, a party also of pluralism, of freedom.
03:09It is really a pleasure, an honor, a national pride to be here.
03:14Heartbeat of the Italian pavilion, the Italian square, designed by the studio Stefano Boeri Interiors.
03:21Crowded with guests from the first day of the fair,
03:23who under the starry sky, between columns and tables,
03:26have been able to fully experience the spirit of Italian culture.
03:30I believe that there is nothing like a square to symbolize real freedom,
03:34that is, the freedom of any behavior.
03:37There are no codes, there are no prohibitions.
03:40The square is an unpredictable place where anything can happen.
03:46It is a crime, a religious ceremony, a political administration, a love scene.
03:54So it is the place that tells better than anything else what our cities are.
04:00Italy and Germany, which are city-states, have this in common,
04:04and it seemed right to us to rebuild a square here, an allegory of an Italian square.
04:12The water is undisputed of the festival of cinema in Rome,
04:15thanks to the CEA group that continues to support the annual film event.
04:19A role as a diva that is celebrated through the eyes of young video makers
04:23who have produced undisputed short films that show the importance of water recycling.
04:28Works that have competed at the Contest 1000 Volts of Water,
04:31promoted and organized by the CEA group in collaboration
04:34with the Experimental Center of Cinematography of Rome and the Cinema for Rome Foundation.
04:38The Contest was born from the idea of promoting effective communication
04:44on the subject of the reuse of water, on the subject of the reduced availability of the resource.
04:51As for the process of selecting the winner,
04:55there was a whole jury structure at various levels
05:00that led to the creation of this short film, which is very nice
05:05and certainly very effective in showing the importance of this time.
05:11To win the Contest was the work of Davide Salucci,
05:14who received the special award from the CEA group.
05:17His short film starring a robot that cleans a pool
05:20was then projected, together with the other two finalists,
05:23in the course of an initiative held at the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone.
05:27I am happy that he liked it and that the theme was passed.
05:32The robots always made me a little sad because they worked in continuation,
05:36those I saw in the houses of my friends who have a pool.
05:39On the other hand, they did a very useful job,
05:41so I said it would be great to use a robot to make it the protagonist of a story.
05:46A visceral relationship, what links water to the imaginary of the big screen,
05:50which therefore sees CEA engaged in the sensitization of public opinion
05:53to the recovery, recycling and reuse of the water resource.
05:57A work that also carries on within the Festa del Cinema di Roma,
06:00through numerous initiatives that side with the Contest,
06:03the Thousand Faces of Water.
06:05There is a natural link between CEA and us as main operators on the subject of water.
06:10We wanted to strengthen it by linking the subject of water to cinema
06:14for two reasons.
06:15The first is that cinema is often the precursor of trends
06:20and certainly the conservation of water resources
06:23is becoming more and more of a theme on a planetary level.
06:26The second is that to produce films from a digital point of view,
06:33there is a theme of the use of servers,
06:35of the use of all the technology that is of the big water consumers.
06:39The goal is precisely through these initiatives,
06:42as there are others, to sensitize them on the attention
06:45and the ways of taking care of the resource.
06:51Second edition of the Regio Emilia for the Summit of Collective Restoration
06:54held today at the Cheerfood District.
06:57A moment of annual comparison to give voice to a sector
07:00with about 750 million meals served each year
07:03and over 100,000 employees, of which 80% are represented by women.
07:08We serve thousands of customers in schools,
07:11in social health institutions, in hospitals, in companies,
07:15but we need standards that are made to measure,
07:19if we want to continue to bring quality and security.
07:22I am referring to a revision of the code of conduct
07:25that should contemplate a section dedicated to collective restoration,
07:30rather than also review the CAM of restoration,
07:34which must also take into account our specificities.
07:38We need regular payments from the public administration.
07:43We also need fairs to be sustainable from an economic point of view.
07:49Collective restoration has always played a strategic role for the country,
07:53ensuring every day essential services for schools, hospitals,
07:57social health institutions, companies and large communities.
08:01The school lunch is a very effective tool in several ways.
08:06First of all, it guarantees a healthy and balanced meal
08:10for all children, including those in absolute poverty.
08:14But it is also a powerful tool for socializing,
08:17contrasting inequalities,
08:19and a tool to combat school dispersion,
08:24because increasing the number of lunches
08:28can also increase the time spent in schools.
08:31The Comparto is faced with challenges and complexities.
08:35The achievement of the objectives provided by the minimum environmental criteria
08:39and the importance of maintaining a correct balance
08:42between environmental, social and, above all, economic sustainability.
08:46The problem is not whether we should spend little or eat well.
08:52The problem is that we have to spend the right amount to eat better.
08:56So, in this regard, we all have to take a step together in a certain direction.
09:02Putting ourselves in positions that see only one side of the coin
09:06obviously does not help.
09:08Sustainability is integration between different dimensions.
09:12An initiative capable of bringing new generations of students
09:16closer to the world of work,
09:18with a real approach to professional dynamics,
09:21with comparison in various sectors.
09:23It is the Career Day Campus and Leaders and Talents,
09:26added to the 17th edition,
09:28organized by the University of Torvergata
09:31in collaboration with the Graduate Office,
09:33the Economic Business Desk and the ALET Association.
09:36The initiative, held in the square of the Rectorate of the Ateneo,
09:40offers companies the opportunity to meet students,
09:44graduates of all faculties,
09:46in their personal booth
09:48and is also addressed to those who are not enrolled at the University of Torvergata.
09:52Our goal is to always promote the greatest possible contact
09:56between companies and our young people,
09:58or young people who study during the university course.
10:02This year we received more than 900 registrations on the portal,
10:05so it was a great success.
10:07The numbers are certainly an increase compared to past editions.
10:10And the goal is always to promote the relationship between companies and students.
10:14So we tried to organize the event
10:17by promoting this type of interaction as much as possible.
10:19It is a relationship that must be cultivated already during the training period.
10:23During the university course,
10:25conventions and experiences mature,
10:28and you have the desire to know better
10:30what you are going to do in the business world,
10:32especially what companies are looking for
10:34and what companies will allow you to do
10:36once you embark on a journey within their own structures.
10:40And under this profile, I believe that events like this
10:42best promote this type of interaction.
10:45The event consolidates its purpose
10:47to become an appointment
10:49aimed at building a direct dialogue
10:51with the industrial realities,
10:53to make the needs of young people converge
10:55with the requests from companies,
10:58also through real work meetings.
11:01We have a service that allows us
11:04to collect information about the participants
11:07before they register,
11:10so before they arrive here,
11:12and to organize interviews with companies.
11:14So today is really an operational moment.
11:17We have set up points here
11:21in our wonderful Rectorate
11:23where young people will be able to support
11:25directly the dialogues with companies
11:27and therefore move directly
11:29the first step into the world of work.
11:31This year we have also enriched the event
11:35with a stand that presents
11:38the training offer of the Master's degree.
11:40Imagining also addressing students
11:42who, at the end of the Master's degree,
11:44in a single place,
11:46can try to understand
11:48what is there in the world of work,
11:50what are the opportunities for a Master's degree,
11:52or what are the courses of the Master's degree
11:54that can lead them to
11:56embark on their favourite path
11:58in the world of work,
12:00having the opportunity to ask companies
12:02what are the courses of the Master's degree
12:04that they are most interested in,
12:06and then directly get information
12:08about the course that interests them.
12:12Comfort and modern services
12:14and of rigorously smart quality
12:16in the heart of Sardinia.
12:18Open doors in Sassari for the B&B Hotels,
12:21the first structure on the island
12:23of the famous international chain
12:25that can boast 850 hotels in Europe
12:27and 75 in Italy alone.
12:29During the official inauguration
12:31in the new structure of Via Padre Zirano 5,
12:33all the peculiarities
12:35of the new point of reference
12:37for island tourism have been highlighted,
12:39with great attention to families
12:41and a focus on the business sector.
12:43INE was born because Sardinia
12:45is a very important area
12:47from a tourist point of view
12:49and for us it is normal
12:51to come to such a beautiful region.
12:55Today, everyday life has changed,
12:57as explained by the honorary president
12:59of B&B Hotels, Jean-Claude Gauthier.
13:01After Covid, you stay less in the office,
13:03you work on the road and you travel more,
13:05with often high rhythms.
13:07This is how the formula of safe success was born.
13:09The hotel Sassarese will offer
13:11the package consisting of
13:13accommodation and breakfast,
13:15all at rather low costs.
13:17We are already able to offer
13:19an incredible price-quality ratio.
13:21I don't know if you have already seen
13:23the quality of the rooms,
13:25you can already see the quality
13:27of the common parts,
13:29but paying 60 euros a night
13:31for a structure of this type
13:33does not exist in Sardinia.
13:35The initiative is possible
13:37thanks to the collaboration
13:39between B&B Hotels and the BIPER group,
13:41which has granted the stable
13:43in a multi-annual location,
13:45confirming the commitment on Sassare
13:47related to the completion
13:49of the activities
13:51of valorization of the territory.
13:53We saw this property,
13:55we realized that it resembled
13:57a property that B&B has in Milan,
13:59we called the chain,
14:01which we know well
14:03because we also have a similar situation
14:05and we fell in love with it.
14:07We realized that it was there
14:09two and a half years ago
14:11and then we got here today.
14:13A hyper-strategic position.
14:15We are convinced that it is a strategic position.
14:17In addition, as in Modena,
14:19we also have this type of property
14:21in a more or less similar situation,
14:23with a seat next to it
14:25where our colleagues work.
14:27This liaison between B&B
14:29and the BIPER group works well.
14:32The aim is to fill the hotel,
14:34first of all,
14:36and then in Sardinia
14:38to open other locations.
14:40Surely there is potential
14:42and when we start in a region
14:44we generally open other structures.
14:50Sustainability, innovation,
14:52personalization and safety
14:54are the main drivers
14:56that follow the companies
14:58of the Logistics Department
15:00of Piacenza Expo.
15:02The new products are
15:04the first edition of T-Cube
15:06Track Tyre & Trailer,
15:08the innovative Italian fair
15:10signed by Media Point and Exhibitions
15:12and dedicated to technology,
15:14vehicles for road transport,
15:16heavy and light,
15:18fittings, trailers, semi-trailers,
15:20tires, components, products
15:22and services for the transport line.
15:24Among the novelties there is eMovie,
15:26half 100% electric
15:28with a range of 300 km
15:30developed by Iveco
15:32in collaboration with Hyundai.
15:34This vehicle is fully electric
15:36and it has been developed
15:38in collaboration with Hyundai.
15:40It is a vehicle that has
15:42particular characteristics
15:44so it will be suitable
15:46for urban distribution
15:48for its dimensions.
15:50It is a vehicle that can be fitted
15:52both as a public transport
15:54or any kind
15:56or even with a trunk
15:58that can also be folded
16:00for construction companies
16:02and rather with the fridge
16:04as you can see
16:06that we have presented here
16:08in the fair and therefore suitable
16:10for the distribution of all
16:12refrigerated goods that can go
16:14from both below zero
16:16and at room temperature.
16:18Destined for road assistance
16:20it is the FGM32,
16:22presented at the Kermes by OCM Steel.
16:24It is a road assistance vehicle
16:26with a three-axle stretchable
16:28with movable floor.
16:30The strength of this product
16:32is that the movable floor
16:34is always chargable even
16:36in the stretching phase.
16:38The rear ramps are hydraulic
16:40with double hydraulic pull.
16:42They are equipped with a load
16:44and unloading chute,
16:46a solution for the recovery
16:48of damaged vehicles
16:50but also for the transport
16:52with the guarantee
16:54and the safety certification
16:56of the industrial production
16:58and the distinctive element
17:00of the modular equipment
17:02for SYNCHRO SYSTEM vans.
17:04SYNCHRO SYSTEM S.P.A.
17:06deals with installing
17:08warehouses or mobile offices
17:10on commercial vehicles.
17:12It is a modular system
17:14composed of a large number
17:16of different elements
17:18that can be put together
17:20Already awarded at the Hannover Fair,
17:22the SEMI REMORCHIO SCOE by Schmitz
17:24is fully electric
17:26to meet the needs
17:28of the logistics market.
17:30It has a room that can produce
17:32energy to charge the batteries
17:34from 32 kW.
17:36The weight is only 150 kg
17:38compared to a normal vehicle.
17:40Thanks to the Schmitz Cargo Pool technology
17:42we can have an autonomy
17:44of 4-5 hours in the electric field.
17:46The 6th National Congress
17:48of Meritocracy Italy
17:50with the title
17:52MERITOCRACIA ITALIA
17:54the network that grows
17:56where citizens count.
17:58At the center of the three days
18:00various topics
18:02such as peace,
18:04social cohesion
18:06and the importance
18:08of bringing citizens
18:10and their needs
18:12back to the center
18:14of the political agenda
18:16The challenge of the X people
18:18of those who do not count
18:20in the will to give a hand
18:22to those who govern
18:24to all institutions.
18:26Meritocracy is really an advantage
18:28for those who govern
18:30and for those who do not feel governed.
18:32In this intermediation
18:34that we do every day
18:36there are many issues
18:38that we pay attention to politics,
18:40justice, health, infrastructure
18:42but above all a great cry
18:44that we address to politics
18:46to tempt diplomacy and peace.
18:48We do not send weapons,
18:50we send words.
18:52Meritocracy is the movement of construction,
18:54collaboration, listening to citizens
18:56and the desire to represent something different,
18:58to make available to others
19:00and the community
19:02their skills, understood as talents.
19:04This year is the year of change
19:06and we will decide to increase
19:08the relations with institutions
19:10and to make available
19:12laws to make sure that
19:14the real needs of the population
19:16reach the ears of politicians
19:18who make decisions.
19:20Meritocracy, like all congresses,
19:22puts the citizen at the center
19:24and the active citizenship
19:26which is our mission of the movement.
19:28From the Congress of Erno we want
19:30the centrality of the individual to emerge,
19:32the citizenship, to bring back
19:3450% of the people who do not vote
19:36to be represented in Parliament.
19:38We hope that
19:40these years will serve
19:42and there will be others of growth.
19:44We are an association that grows exponentially
19:46with a lot of national
19:48support and every day
19:50we have the confirmation
19:52that the citizen listens,
19:54the citizen needs,
19:56the citizen has heard from institutions
19:58and cannot be left alone.
20:00Climate Impulse was presented
20:02at Bollate,
20:04the first non-stop flight around the world
20:06on a plane powered by green hydrogen
20:08planned for 2028.
20:10The project sees Sáñez-Có
20:12as the main technological partner
20:14with his deep experience
20:16and his ability to innovate
20:18in the service of this new adventure
20:20through materials designed
20:22to build the flight.
20:24The project is a dream
20:26that we want to realize together with Bertrand Piccard
20:28and fly around the world on a plane
20:30powered only by hydrogen,
20:32therefore with zero emissions.
20:34At the moment it is a dream
20:36and the technologies available today
20:38are not yet sufficiently advanced,
20:40so in the coming years we will work
20:42together with Bertrand Piccard
20:44to make the dream a reality
20:46and the research center is essential
20:48because we need new materials
20:50to realize the dream.
20:52We certainly have materials
20:54that go in two important directions,
20:56the first is to lighten the plane
20:58with carbon fiber materials
21:00of aerospace derivation
21:02with which we can build
21:04hydrogen-powered aircraft.
21:06The second is on the hydrogen cycle
21:08to make the fuel cell
21:10inside the plane more efficient
21:12and that's what we're working on.
21:14To embark on this unprecedented journey
21:16will be the famous Swiss aviator
21:18Bertrand Piccard.
21:20Climate Impulse wants to build
21:22a hydrogen plane
21:24to fly around the world
21:26without stops
21:28and with zero emissions.
21:30For this we absolutely need
21:32cutting-edge technologies
21:34to build the plane of the future
21:36with new materials of the future
21:38and this is what we do with Science&Co.
21:40For the special carbon fibers
21:42to make the plane light enough
21:44we make membranes for the fuel cells
21:46to transform hydrogen into electricity.
21:48Of course all the materials
21:50that we need to make the plane
21:52super-proof and efficient.
21:54We need efficiency.
21:56We need efficiency.
21:58The presentation of Climate Impulse
22:00also offered the opportunity
22:02to discover the new
22:04Science&Co applications
22:06for the green hydrogen of Bollate.
22:08Here at Bollate we have 300 researchers
22:10who are active in many different sectors
22:12including hydrogen.
22:14We have already patented
22:16a special chemical
22:18for hydrogen
22:20here at Bollate
22:22which are the technological heart
22:24of both the electrolyzers
22:26that drain the water to make hydrogen
22:28and the fuel cells
22:30that use hydrogen to make electricity
22:32and to run the engines.
22:34The company at the forefront
22:36of sustainable innovation
22:38applied the modern building
22:40Essengo Ben Italia
22:42producer of insulators for buildings
22:44in particular glass wool
22:46that has inaugurated a new photovoltaic park
22:48with a surface of 70,000 square meters
22:50adjacent to the production plant
22:52that will produce 4.65 megawatts
22:54of electric power
22:56for the sustainability of the plant
22:58built in the headquarters of Vidalengo di Caravaggio
23:00a productive reality of primary importance
23:02for the economy of the province of Bergamo.
23:04An important step in the process
23:06of decarbonization of the sites
23:08in Italy and in the group
23:10the company has set itself the goal
23:12of neutralizing emissions by 2050.
23:14This plant will allow us
23:16to consume all the energy produced
23:18will be consumed
23:20in the San Goven
23:22plant in Vidalengo
23:24of Caravaggio
23:26and this is therefore
23:28an important step.
23:30It is part of the process of reducing
23:32the environmental impact of this production
23:34where
23:36let's say
23:38in addition to CO2
23:40we are concerned
23:42to reduce the impact
23:44of resource consumption
23:46we have reduced in recent years
23:4880% of water consumption for cooling
23:50already for many years
23:52the glass wool produced
23:54in this plant
23:56is produced with more than 70%
23:58of recycled material
24:00and this
24:02makes it
24:04a flower in the eye
24:06of the example
24:08of sustainability
24:10for the production
24:12of building materials.
24:14Glass wool is a mineral fiber
24:16used for thermal and acoustic insulation
24:18of buildings
24:20and it is one of the basic products
24:22to build buildings in a sustainable way
24:24as it reduces the impact
24:26and energy consumption
24:28during the period of use
24:30and it is also one of the safest products.
24:32Because it is part of the reaction class
24:34to fire A1 and A2
24:36which are
24:38represent
24:40for building materials
24:42the best classes of fire behavior
24:44so much so that yesterday
24:46at the inauguration of the first stone
24:48for the reconstruction
24:50of Torre Antonini
24:52the architects were present
24:54the engineers, the architect Piva
24:56the governor Fontana
24:58the mayor of Milan
25:00the importance of building
25:02with safe materials was reiterated
25:04so not only do they isolate
25:06but they are safe materials
25:08and it has been shown
25:10that the glass wool installed in the Torre Antonini
25:12allowed to protect the structure
25:14during the emergency
25:16and it is what allowed
25:18to avoid further human tragedies.
