08:35That's right. The truth is that dogs can see colors, just not all of them.
08:39Now, you're probably thinking, Saber, how can this be true?
08:46I'm glad you asked. To understand that, we need to peer into our eyeballs to find a bunch of tiny cells on our retina called cones.
08:54Now, you're probably thinking, why are these little cells called cones?
09:02Well, that's because they're cone-shaped.
09:04But the important thing about the cones isn't their shape, but what they do.
09:08What do they do?
09:10Look at that.

09:14That's okay. The cone cells react to different colors and tell the brain what they've seen.
09:19Now, dogs have cone cells in their eyes, but their cones are only sensitive to certain colors.

10:05For our Assault, it's not the Gladiators who'll be firing that nasty little tennis ball cannon.
10:10It's the Contenders.
10:12And their target? You guessed it. The Gladiator captain of the opposing team.
10:16As the Contenders shoot it down, the Gladiators will be running from one firing station to the next, trying to hit that target over the Contenders' head.
10:23To make it a little more difficult for the Gladiators, we've put three obstacles in their way to keep them in the line of fire a little bit longer.
10:28They'll have to climb a rope ladder, walk across a balance beam, and finally, broad jump circle for circle.
10:35The Gladiators will score five points for their team each time they hit the target.
10:39Our Contenders will score ten points for themselves every time they hit a Gladiator.
10:43Let's put 90 seconds on the clock.
10:45Remember, the Contenders have to hand off control of their cannon midway through the competition.
10:50Since they're behind, the red team gets to go first.
10:53At the cannon, Hector del Cid will shoot first, and Arcelia del Cid will take the second half.
