00:23In this video, we are unboxing it,
00:24checking out what this phone is all about.
00:26We're also doing a camera tour and some sample shots.

00:30The Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE is here.
00:34We have the same banding on the sides,
00:36and I am particularly excited about this version
00:39because, well, let me show you.
00:43I'm in Joshua's office right now,
00:44and I couldn't find a knife,
00:47so keys work as well.
00:50We have a sleeve designed by Xiaomi.

00:56We have a USB Type-C to 3.5-millimeter headphone adapter.

01:22but first, let's look at what else is in the box.

02:26and that module is pretty sleek.

02:35and I feel like that would be a fingerprint scanner.

02:39At the bottom, speakers, USB-C port, SIM tray.
02:42That is a dual SIM slot right there,
02:45but that's also an SD card slot.

02:49That's a clean other side and top.
02:52I feel like that's an IR blaster in true Xiaomi fashion.

03:27And that side-mounted power button is a fingerprint scanner.

03:34You have wide, 1X, 2X, up until 10X.
03:41You have flash settings, HDR settings.
03:43You have AI settings.
03:44You also have your different filters on here.
03:47You have your beauty mode,
03:49and then to the right, you have your portrait mode.
03:51Now, as you can see, the background did blur.
03:54You have a toggle for settings on that,
03:57an aperture of 0 to 16.
03:59You have different cinematic effects in portrait mode,
04:03and then you also have a beauty mode and different filters.
04:06On the right, we have more,
04:08so you have a night mode that does wide, 1X, 2X, up until 10X.
04:14Up here, you have size settings, timer settings,
04:18settings, a movie frame mode.
04:20You also have grid, super macro mode,
04:23tilt shift, and time burst.
04:25Up here, you have size settings, timer settings,
04:28movie frame mode, and grids.
04:30You then have a 64-megapixel mode,
04:32which is basically using the main camera
04:34and shooting with 64-megapixels.
04:36Again, I've said this in a lot of my videos,
04:39this phone and most phones use this pixel binning
04:41to create smaller photos with better photos,
04:44but if you wanna do the full 64-megapixel,
04:47you use this mode.
04:49You have flash, you have different filters,
04:51and you also have your timer.
04:53We have a short video mode.
04:55It's downloading right now,
04:56but what this is really is a way for Android phones
05:00to sort of go around the whole social media optimization thing.
05:03Basically, Android phones aren't the most optimized
05:06for social media,
05:08and what the solution of Xiaomi is,
05:10is to create a specific mode on your main camera app,
05:15and from here, you can send straight to social media.
05:17So, if you're signed in, it'll show your accounts here,
05:19and that way, you'll be able to share, like,
05:22optimized photos and videos.
05:24That's not all, though.
05:25Like, you can also change background music on this mode.
05:29You can shoot in 1080p, 720.
05:32You have different effects, like slow-mo.
05:35You can do wide, 1X, up until 6X,
05:38and you can even add your different filters.
05:42There's a beauty mode,
05:43and there are these fun kaleidoscope modes.
05:46Under more, you also have panorama mode,
05:48a document scanner, always useful.
05:50You have this really cool vlog mode,
05:52which is basically giving you different templates,
05:54and then you just hold your phone up,
05:56and it will edit those videos for you.
05:59As you can see, these are the different...
06:11Yeah, so those are the different templates,
06:13and you just pick one, and you're good to go.
06:15Very useful for social media posts,
06:18if you shoot your own vlogs and stuff like that.
06:20We have slow-motion mode,
06:22and under settings, you can do 1080p up until 960fps.
06:27Oh, but 1080p only does 120, and 720 does 960.
06:32You also have a time-lapse mode,
06:33movie effects, which gives you
06:35these different cinematic, like, effects.
06:38Oh.
06:40We've seen this all in previous Xiaomi devices,
06:43and I have a few videos on testing out phones
06:47which have these effects,
06:48so I'll link it up here and down below.
06:49You have long exposure mode, dual video mode,
06:52and this is fun.
06:53You can move this tiny thing around,
06:55and you can also switch that around.
06:57You can zoom or switch it to this mode.
07:00And finally, always fun, the clone mode,
07:02which allows you to do, like,
07:04these type of photos and videos,
07:06and they have instructions on how you can do all that.
07:09Again, I've tested these all out on other Xiaomi phones,

07:21And then, off to the other side,
07:23we have video, and we can do wide,
07:261X, 2X, up until 6X.
07:31We also have flash settings.
07:33We have a steady mode.
07:35You have your different movie filter,
07:38and also, you have a beauty mode.
07:40Under settings, it shows us that,
07:42ooh, it can shoot in 4K, 30 FPS,
07:451080p, 60 FPS, and 1080p, 30.
07:49There's a movie frame mode, a super macro mode,
07:52track moving object, and, of course, AI camera.
07:54And then, you have a pro mode that allows for photos
07:58and videos, nice.
08:00You have your different settings over here.
08:03Now, there doesn't seem to be any selfie mode
08:06on pro mode, but on video, yeah.
08:09So, we have here the different filter.
08:11You have a beauty mode on video.
08:13Now, I always say this in all my videos,
08:15I like the beauty mode, but you use it
08:17to enhance the real you, just like makeup.
08:20And using it doesn't mean you should be ashamed
08:23of your real face, imperfections and all.
08:25No one's perfect.
08:26Selfie video can shoot up until 1080p,
08:29and you also have a movie frame mode.
08:30You then have your photo mode.
08:32Can you zoom in or out?
08:33Yes!
08:34So, you can zoom up until 2X, no wide.
08:38You have your very detailed beauty mode on here.
08:41Wow, that's a lot.
08:42Ah, nice.
08:44There is a makeup mode on here.
08:46I like that.
08:47Ooh, I see the makeup.
08:49And yeah, I like that you can change
08:51the intensity of the makeup
08:53because that also means that you can make it
08:56look a little bit more natural,
08:58which is always a secret to a great beauty mode
09:01or even great actual makeup.
09:03You also have filters right here.
09:05A lot of different ones to choose from.

09:09You have your size, timer, movie frame mode,

09:13Palm shutter is like my favorite selfie feature.
