00:16Today's video features the Huawei Matebook 14. This isn't a review yet, but we're looking at
00:21the best features of this Matebook. We're also taking a quick look at the Huawei Matebook D15,
00:28and we're also checking out Huawei SuperDevice, Huawei Smart Office, what that's all about.
00:32But before we begin, a quick shout out to Huawei for collaborating with me on this video.

00:48Huawei Matebook series. So just some quick specs, we have the Space Grey version, 16GB 512GB SSD,
00:55Intel Core i5 with Windows 11.
01:03First up, we have a power brick.
01:09Charging cord, which is a USB-C to C.
01:15Paperwork.
01:19Oh, that's not bad. And I feel like this is gonna be a sleek laptop.

01:57Now let's talk about the exciting parts of this laptop.
01:59The Huawei Matebook 14 has a 2K full view display with slim bezels.
02:04But most uniquely, it features a 3.2 aspect ratio,
02:07meaning it has a taller screen than most other laptops.
02:11And for some reason, that just really makes it feel like this is a much bigger screen.
02:16This is designed for optimal use. Like, most word apps are lengthwise and this helps.
02:21Plus, I found that it was pretty enjoyable working on a screen this wide
02:25especially if you're a multitasker with many different windows open at a given time like me.
02:30And you're probably thinking, how does this affect watching movies?
02:34Well, it doesn't.
02:35This is what watching stuff looks and sounds like on the Matebook 14.
02:56For those who never seem to get off their laptops,
02:58this has a built-in iCare Mode with TUV Ryland Low Blue Light certification.
03:03In terms of power, this thing runs on
03:05an Intel Core i7 processor, the choice between 16GB RAM or 8GB RAM,
03:11Windows 10, and 512GB of storage.
03:14In a nutshell, this thing can handle your normal work-from-home stuff,
03:17word processing, calls, research, emails, Facebook stalking,
03:21and all of those together all at once in a multitasking medley.
03:25This laptop can also probably do casual editing, nothing too intensive.
03:30Now moving on to more of the Huawei stuff on this Huawei device,
03:34let's talk about Huawei's super device.
03:37Which isn't one specific device, but like,
03:39all of the Huawei devices working together seamlessly.
03:43You need all your Huawei devices here.
03:46I also have the Huawei MatePad.
03:52So first off, you can find all your Huawei devices here.
03:54It's really quick and convenient.
03:57When you see your device, just drag and then you'll be connected.
04:07Literally, you can do so many things from here.
04:10You can drag and drop files, or even better,
04:12you can edit stuff on the Mate XS2 on the MateBook.
04:16You can also even receive calls on here.
04:19Such a great workflow thing.
04:20It eliminates the need to go from one device to another
04:24when you're already in the zone working.
04:26As someone who shoots a lot of stuff on my phone,
04:28I also love how it's so easy to just get files from my phone
04:33and transfer them to the computer.
04:35Working with it with a Huawei tablet is also pretty fun.
04:38So I'm connecting the Huawei MatePad this time around,
04:41and you can mirror your screen just like you see here.
04:45You get exactly what you see on your laptop.
04:48You can also try extending your screen
04:52using the MatePad as a second screen,
04:55and you can also access files on the MatePad straight from your MateBook.
05:00These are just a few examples, but you get the idea.
05:03There are so many possibilities.
05:05So you can just imagine how these seamless connections
05:08can help you get your work done.
05:12As is obvious in the name,
05:13the Huawei MateBook 14 sports a 14-inch screen in a sleek body.
05:17Sleek.
05:18Something you can bring around easily
05:20if you want to, say, spend a workday out at a coffee shop.
05:23On the right, that's two USB-A ports.
05:25On the left, HDMI, audio jack,
05:28and the charging port, which is a USB-C.
05:30There's a fingerprint ID scanner here.
05:32And this is most interesting.
05:34Camera is hidden down here.
05:39Despite being sleek, Huawei claims 11 hours of battery time.
05:42And there are shark fin dual fans and dual heat pipes
05:45for better heat dissipation.
05:47This thing has Wi-Fi 6 and comes with a standard 65-watt charger.
05:53Now, if you're the type who'd want a bigger screen,
05:55the Huawei MateBook 15 might be something you'd want to look at.

07:33In my short time with the Huawei MateBook 14,
07:35I am really loving the screen situation.
07:38It's been very useful for script writing,
07:40research work,
07:41and the jumble of my life that's multitasking
07:44anytime, anywhere on a screen.
07:46Obviously, these MateBooks are very promising,
07:48and we're at the point where Huawei's building a name
07:51not just for good phones.
