00:16In our daily lives, we use bananas in different ways,

00:24Up to 4,000 people work together
00:27to break the Guinness World Record for the most number of people who planted bananas at the same time.
00:32The Department of Science and Technology was led by
00:35Secretary Renatum Solidum Jr.,
00:37DOST Undersecretary Engineer Sancho Maborang,
00:40and DOST Region 10 Regional Director Romela Ratilla.
00:43To achieve this, more than 80 institutions from Mindanao
00:47worked together to find 4,000 planters
00:51who were able to plant less than 20,000 bananas in 11 places in the region.
00:57The activity to open awareness in the role of bananas
01:01in promoting sustainability, circular economies, and climate resilience is also going well.

01:11in the Circular Economy Forum in Cagayan de Oro
