00:50for the walk-off win there was just absolutely impressive but listen we in
00:57Minnesota I would not sleep on them they were very much in that game

02:00Saturday we have in store the first top five tilt in Austin Texas since 2006
02:09it's number one Texas it's number five Georgia it's now a four and a half point
02:14spread in favor of the Longhorns total at 56 and a half Joe this will be the
02:19first game for the Bulldogs from UGA as the underdog since the very start of the
02:252021 college football season and from that start of the 2021 college football
02:31season Georgia has only three losses in total all three against Alabama should
02:37UGA be the underdog even on the road in Austin yeah yes I do think they they
02:46should be here given the fact that listen we this number seems a little bit
02:52high but I have both of these teams on equal footing on offense but this year
02:58ironically enough I've got the Texas defense rated better than what I've got
03:03for Georgia here this is not a Georgia defense of the years past even though
03:08the market continues to think that they are they're not plus Texas hasn't really
03:15faced a great offensive team yet they are gonna be tested by Georgia here in
03:21this game here but they have proved themselves offensively have they not
03:25great defensive teams here they gained over 400 yards a game we've seen them do
03:30that against really good teams like Clemson in fact Alabama I think
03:36offensively Texas is gonna score their points I do think that Texas defense is
03:42gonna be able to get a few more stops here than what the Georgia defense is
03:47plus the Bulldogs have gone I believe it this is a spot you usually want to back
03:54Kirby smart this is a you know getting points this is where he lives but like
03:59we talked about Tomlin at home getting points has been money over the years
04:03same thing with Kirby I just don't know that this is the year for either of
04:07those two teams that we want to back them just because they're dogs you know
04:12everything in me Joe wants to say Georgia should not be an underdog I
04:16still consider Georgia a national title favorite I still think UGA is one of the
04:21three best teams in the country they've lost three games since the middle
04:25portion of 2020 three of their last 50 plus by this point and all three have
04:32been against Alabama but this Georgia team looks a little bit different still
04:36a top 20 scoring defense but allowing 17 points per game still a top 30 total
04:41defense but when you use top 20 and top 30 not necessarily the standard in
04:47Athens they're giving up more than 312 yards per game and they're giving up
04:51more than a buck 20 on the ground they're the ninth worst rushing defense
04:56in the SEC it's not a good recipe for this Georgia team Joe they were the
05:02third best nationally in 2021 in defending the run they were the best in
05:06the country in 2022 the two years they won back-to-back national championships
05:11there's an elite defense play but it's not the Bulldogs it's the Longhorns
05:15scoring defense best total defense in the country Joe it actually leans me
05:19toward an under at 56 and a half because everything will be calling for me to
05:24take Georgia as the underdog getting four and a half points in this spot if I
05:29think Georgia keeps this game close maybe even within a single score they're
05:33gonna have to slow down Texas the Longhorns team total 30 and a half now
05:38let's go to the rest of a significant Saturday in the SEC it's the third
05:43Saturday in October it's a rocky top Tennessee it's the Volunteers hosting
05:48Alabama a top 15 tilt neither team Joe after getting beat two weekends ago
05:53looked all that great in their bounce back spot last Saturday how does this
05:58game play outline working in favor of the tide now north of a field goal yes
06:04and I like Tennessee's defense I think they've actually been better than
06:09Alabama's defense on the year here there were some questions you know coming in
06:14is what were they a paper tiger the answer is no the problem with Tennessee
06:19right now is their offense and their young quarterback who seems to have
06:24regressed here a little bit against better defensive teams in the SEC when
06:28you don't score a point in the first half of two straight games against SEC
06:32opponents that's a problem Alabama's offense will be the best offense they
06:37have seen Alabama's offense is on a totally different level here I do think
06:42Alabama is the rightful favorite here I don't think Josh Heupel trusts his young
06:47quarterback I think that's going to be the difference in this game the Vols
06:51under and all three SEC games why because that defense is very very good
06:57top five of both scoring and total defense but the offense does not look
07:02the same that it did in its opening three games 191 points in the first
07:06three games Joe 25 points or less in their last three in the SEC but as
07:12Alabama's defense good enough to make Tennessee earn it that's the question

07:28till in Austin number one Texas number five Georgia top 15 till in Tennessee
07:33it's the Vols in the third Saturday of October on Rocky Top against Alabama and
07:39LSU now ranked in the top 10 after handling business at home at night
07:45against Ole Miss so Joe make this make sense to me at a point yesterday the
07:50Bayou Bengals just a point and a half favor a virtual pick them against
07:55Arkansas now back to two and a half in favor of the Tigers but we know the hogs
08:00are a great underdog team how do you see Saturday in Fayetteville playing out
08:06tomorrow night you got to be first of all LSU was lucky to beat Ole Miss at
08:13home in that spot in overtime they're great quarterback Nussmeyer 22 of 51 so
08:21please save me about how this LSU offense is just so impeccable here not
08:26to mention I still think their defense is trash here and anytime we've gotten
08:32Pittman at home and under the lights man for a getting points come on Arkansas

08:43couple of weeks ago you want to give me points for Arkansas at home with that
08:46offense against the defense that can't stop anybody yeah I'll take Arkansas on

08:57interesting though Joe because even if this was above a field goal I'd say yeah
09:01Arkansas but we're less than that we're basically reaching a point of a pick'em
09:06Arkansas though as an underdog the Razorbacks this year 4 and 0 against the
09:12spread to outright victories with Sam Pittman as the head coach of the Hogs
09:17since 2020 21 and 9 against the number of the best of any power for conference
09:23program in the country there is a reason they saying whoa pig suey when they see
09:29that plus in front of their price on the money line a big one for LSU Taylan
09:36green the quarterback for Arkansas the Boise State transfer expected to be back
09:41he is thrown for at least 266 yards in all three games against the ranked
09:46opponent this year for Arkansas 242 and a half is his prop LSU Joe still some
09:51issues defensively now we've got a game of the year potential in game of the
09:55year three in Austin on Saturday night we've got great games in the SEC but my
10:01favorite game of the week our producer extraordinaire Joe Friso knows me well

10:12Nebraska a touchdown spread in favor of the Hoosiers virtually now dipping below

11:28the kid didn't look great against Purdue on the road his first road game I don't
11:33think he's gonna look here I think the difference is offensively Indiana is
11:38heads and tails above Nebraska's offense I rate the defense is about the same I
11:43think there's a huge edge for Indiana in this game we've got two really great
11:48defenses it's why I lean under 50 and a half and working its way down but
11:53Indiana second best scoring offense in the country Curtis Rourke in the Hoosiers
11:59have been putting up points quickly Joe to ACC territory Louisville a slight home
12:05underdog against unbeaten Miami off to a 6-0 start but only a four and a half
12:10point spread does Miami remain perfect on Saturday yeah well they may but they
12:17in all likelihood ain't covering it it's gonna be some sort of weird this is
12:21the crystal ball game this is where Miami ruins its entire season with a
12:26total clunker thanks to their coach ah Mario Cristobal coming back to bite his
12:33own team you do not say we got to show you the rest of Saturday and this
12:38splendid Friday before our pick 6 for week 7 of that I mean week 8 in college

12:50even more and don't wait till Saturday a great Friday night slate tonight we've
12:56got two ranked teams inside the top 15 in action number two Oregon heads to
13:03West Lafayette against an unranked Purdue team the Ducks a four touchdown
13:09favorite but the spoiler makers are the spoiler makers for a reason
13:1417 wins as an unranked foe against a top-five team in the AP poll since 1936
13:20most in college football nobody more than 11 they've got nine wins against a
13:25team ranked one or two since 1950 most in college football could it
13:32potentially happen tonight well no they're not gonna no absolutely not but
13:40Ryan Brown was a great upgraded quarterback over a Hudson car I'll tell
13:45you that right now he he throws the ball just as well but he added 129 yards on
13:5116 runs in that overtime win last week or loss rather to Illinois the problem
13:57with this is the Boilermakers defense Oregon can name their score in this game
14:01but it's a huge letdown spot from that win over Ohio State and how many
14:06starters are going to be left in the game by the time the fourth quarter
14:10comes around the answer is next to none so the backdoor to me is going to be
14:15wide open in this game in the second half I would only look at taking the 30
14:20points in this one if I was playing it at all so Oregon won last week against
14:25Ohio State its first cover in Big Ten play and they won outright as an
14:30underdog the Boilermakers as an underdog they covered for the first time against
14:35an FBS foe last week coming back from being down 27 to 3 against Illinois
14:40early in that third quarter 5 and 9 ATS as a dog with Brian Walters became the
14:46head coach in West Lafayette at the beginning of last season a lot of that
14:50spoiler maker magic has followed Jeff Braum to Louisville he was 22 and 13
14:56against the spread in his six seasons as the man at Ross a late night in Provo

16:11a double-digit win easily for them and how in the world are we getting points
16:16in Illinois Michigan how is that happening that we're how is an over ever
16:20happening in that game I actually think the two offenses kind of do good things
16:27against two defenses that aren't as good as we might expect the numbers to
16:33suggest Michigan bat against the pass welcome Luke Altmeyer Zachary Franklin
16:38and Pat Bryant Illinois not great defending the run well we see Donovan
16:43Edwards and Kalel Mullings have a big day but Joe I do agree on paper it
16:48should be a big 10 battle
