00:00Former Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin will be called on to lead an investigation into the OneBasedTarinet project after more information has been gathered.

00:13SPRM Director-General Azam Bakhi said that Muhyiddin, who started the project in 2011,

00:20when he became Minister of Education, would be called just like anyone else involved in the related project.

00:26Last month, the SPRM called on the YTL Communications office in Kuala Lumpur and a government office

00:32in part of the investigation into the request for payment in connection with the OneBasedTarinet service tender.

00:38It is understood that the investigation focuses on fraudulent claims related to the payment of RM2.7 billion

00:44as well as other crimes under the 2009 SPRM Act.

00:49The Indok YTL Communications company, YTL Power International, has since confirmed the related project,

00:56which ended on June 30, 2019, was admitted by the Ministry of Education and was successfully completed at the end of the contract period.
