00:22Dolly, a BS Nursing graduate from Quezon City, has already graduated from TESDA Training School.

00:28But she continues to practice, like giving CPR or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.

01:15According to the DMW, the minimum salary can reach up to 1,000 euros or more than 62,000 pesos per month.

01:23That doesn't include overtime pay and other benefits.

01:27They said they will be opening 18 senior care facilities.

01:35And they hope to have Filipino caregivers.

01:39Especially, it's government-related, so it's safe.

01:43Of course, we have to consider also the assurance that it's not a scam or anything.

01:49In this test-accredited school in Quezon City,

01:51they teach up to 100 students per year.

01:54And the training lasts for 6 to 7 months.

01:57And most of their graduates are now working abroad.

02:03There are also a lot of test-accredited caregiving graduates

02:07who are abroad, who are able to build their homes in the Philippines,

02:10or whose families are already with them abroad.

02:13The majority of them are still in Canada.

02:17And then Japan is there, of course.

02:19And then Australia and New Zealand is opening up.

02:22And then under the European, we have Germany and Finland.

02:27So, though, language is a must.

02:29Aside from their work, the MOC in some European countries

02:33also contributes to the protection of the Filipinos working there.

02:37One of the common problems in Central and Eastern Europe

02:41is the Third Country Illegal Recruitment Scheme,

02:44where a Filipino is employed illegally

02:48to avoid this kind of illegal recruitment.

02:51The DMW reminds that employees are not allowed to post their work on social media.

02:57If it's government-to-government, only the DMW can apply.

03:01And if it's an agency, check with the DMW

03:04if the agency is legitimate and has active job orders.
