00:00Let's go back to the warm welcome to the Pinoy Olympians.

00:04Among the long-awaited supporters, the father of the Pinoy Olympians,

00:10Olympic double gold medalist, Carlos Yulo.

00:13He's watching live. Ian Cruz, Ian.

00:20Emil, you know, when we passed in front of Taft Avenue earlier,

00:23the parade of the athletes in the lead by Carlos Yulo,

00:27we felt like we were in the Olympic venue because of the huge crowd.

00:32And among those who were waiting for that parade,

00:35the very father of Carlos Yulo.

00:41At 3 o'clock in the afternoon,

00:43this is the signal of students, employees, and residents of Taft Avenue in Malate

00:47to converge and wait for the parade of athletes fighting in the Paris Olympics.

00:52The excitement cannot be hidden, especially among the students,

00:55the school administrators who watched the parade immediately

00:58to show their support, especially to the two-time Olympic gold medalist, Carlos Yulo.

01:03One of the women we met, Carlos, is a neighbor in Malate,

01:06and she hopes that our champion and his family will be more united.

01:11Some students were even tumbling like Yulo in the Olympics.

01:15The convoy of Carlos, and the center island of Taft Avenue

01:19between Pedihil and Malbar Street, was filled with people.

01:22Some of them were very big.

01:25When the athletes passed by, we noticed some children

01:28who went up to the float and signed their worn clothes

01:31to the idol of Carlos Yulo.

01:34They were happy and even gave a wipe to the signed clothes before going down to the float.

01:38And Emil, among those who were waiting for the parade,

01:40Carlos' father, Mark Andrew,

01:42brought a banner where it was written,

01:45Caloy, your father is here.

01:47Carlos' father brought some people while cheering

01:50for his son.

01:52At the same time, he gave a thumbs-up

01:55and followed Caloy in the direction of his father.

01:59Emil, the excitement that we saw,

02:01it was very inspiring to our children.

02:05That's why many are hoping that this will be followed

02:08by the next Carlos Yulo of our country.
