00:19From Monday, July 15 to September 15, the Philippine Statistics Authority obtained the census for two months, and it cannot be denied.

00:35So expect a visit to your home by one of the 70,000 PSA data collectors to interview you or your family members in 45 minutes to 1 hour.

00:49Whatever day it is, from Monday to Saturday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

00:54As for the questions, the name, age, job, number of children, and other information on your livelihood.

01:01Do not hesitate to ask for your confidential financial information such as bank account number, ATM, e-wallet, or one-time password because it is prohibited to ask for it.

01:12Demographic, of course, what is your name, what is your address, what is the age of the members, are you employed, where do you work.

01:23We have questions on basically housing characteristics.

01:28The census is required, so do not deny it if you don't want to be jailed for up to one year and fined P100,000.

01:36We need to participate because we need to count our household members.

01:42PSA's guidance, all the information you will collect is confidential and will be processed according to the Data Privacy Act.

01:49This will be used for planning, it will not be used for anything.

01:57We are always protective of the information that our respondents are giving.

02:02PSA's advice, be careful of those who can pretend to be a data collector.

02:06The legitimate data collector has a specific uniform and ID from PSA.

02:11There is also coordination in the barangay, the group of data collectors before going home.

02:16If you have a question to our data collector, we can talk to our provincial head.

02:22In our five data collectors, we have a team supervisor, we also have an area supervisor.

02:29What if you are not at home? According to PSA, you can schedule to come back to complete the census in your home.

02:38It is important that you are included to complete the data that will help the government's plans, especially since the last census was conducted in 2020.

02:47Many of the lockdowns back then are now back to normal.

02:50We saw an increase in the population based on the count versus the projection in the municipalities.

02:59Now, since they are back again, we need to update our population.

03:06There is also a community-based monitoring system, or CBMS, for those who need help, but it is no longer required and needs a consent form.

03:16This data will serve as the foundation for effective government planning that will address the needs of our most vulnerable populations.

03:28The data derived from the 2024 PAPS and CBMS will help the government make informed decisions to improve the quality of life of all Filipinos.
