00:12A few months before the 2025 National Elections,
00:15the latest Pulse Asia survey showed that 7 out of 10 Filipinos will not support Pro-China candidates.
00:22The survey was conducted from September 6 to 13
00:25to 1,200 respondents before the COC filing on the first week of October.
00:3073% said they will not support Pro-China candidates.
00:355% said they will not support Pro-China candidates,
00:37and 23% said they will not support Pro-China candidates.
00:41We asked some of our fellow Filipinos,
00:44like street vendor Jeffrey.
00:46Anya, where does he agree with this?
00:47Maybe, sir, it's just right that they won't vote,
00:53because, as you can see, it's a difficult situation.
00:58For me, they really should not support, especially in the West Philippines.
01:04If you're going to favor those candidates,
01:08you should give them our dignity as a country.
01:15This is also what Fortunato's father thinks,
01:17that Anya should prioritize the welfare of the country.
01:20No, I agree with our government.
01:24I want democracy.
01:26That's what I want, democracy.
01:28Because they're on the other side.
01:31I want us to be here, us Filipinos.
01:34That's our interest.
01:36That's where I'm from.
01:37Meanwhile, when it comes to the question,
01:39who is the trusted partner of the Philippines
01:41when it comes to national development based on the following,
01:44only 1% is China,
01:46far from 79% of the U.S. and 50% of Japan.
01:50And when it comes to the question,
01:51who is the most promising economic partner of the Philippines
01:54based on the following,
01:56only 7% is China,
01:58where again, the U.S. and Japan.
02:01Rod Laguzad, for Pambansang TV, in Bagong, Philippines.
