00:00In Lanao del Norte, many young people were inspired by the story of the life of a local leader there.

00:08Let's take a look at the story of Lou Antonio.

00:13More than 3,000 students of Kapatagan National High School in Lanao del Norte were inspired by the life of Mayor Marcos Mamay of Bayan ng Nunungan.

00:22This is after the production of the educational film of his biopic film titled Mamay, A Journey to Greatness.

00:31The purpose of the film or biopic film is to inspire young people that poverty is not the only obstacle to success in life.

00:40This is our story, a life story since childhood until becoming a public servant.

00:44The highlight is that poverty is not the hindrance to success.

00:47We need perseverance, determination, and sacrifices.

00:51There are many struggles involved.

00:54Award-winning director Neil Buboytan is the director and writer of the film.

00:58He also went to Bayan ng Nunungan, the cast of the film, for the shooting.

01:03It was directed by Jerry Craval, Aramina, Victor Neri, Ali Forbes, Julio Diaz, Dennis Coronel, Devon Ceron, TJ Marquez, Ron Angeles, Sheila Delgado, and Tony Co.

01:14Meanwhile, the students are also happy with what they learned from the film.

01:18Edalberto Bahala is one of them who was inspired to achieve his dream of becoming a teacher.
