01:08Welcome back everyone, it's Charlie.
01:09There's a brand new Venom, The Last Dance trailer, so we'll break it all down.
01:12We also found out who's playing the Knull character,
01:15their plans for Knull in the future of the Sony movies and the MCU movies,
01:20and what's going on with Spider-Man 4, all the Tom Holland crossover of it all,
01:24in the next couple movies as well too.
01:26Because it sounds like they have big plans for the symbiote with Tom Holland's Spider-Man in the future.

01:33The movie is coming out in a couple weeks, so I'll give away movie tickets when we get a little bit closer too.
01:38We'll probably get a little bit more footage and learn a little bit more about what Sony is doing behind the scenes.
01:42But we do actually know what they're doing since they canceled a lot of their spinoff movies,
01:47like all the Madam Web, the Morbius stuff, and what they're pivoting to in the next several years.
01:52You do not need a spoiler warning to know that it has a lot more to do with the Spider-Man of it all.
02:03You can just see Sony behind the scenes with the meeting of their minds,
02:06saying how do we make money on all these Spider-Man characters we own?
02:09Why don't we do more movies based on a Spider-Man?
02:12But which Spider-Man is it going to be?
02:14The early teaser for that is that it has something to do with a franchise that actually is making them money right now
02:20that involves a Spider-Man, but not the Peter Parker Spider-Man.
02:24But there's a bunch of new footage, so we'll break it all down.
02:27We get some more context for a couple scenes that we saw in earlier trailers that were confusing people
02:31just because of the way the Venom symbiote was kind of unintelligible with its voiceover in those previous trailers.
02:37There was a scene in one of the first trailers where people thought the symbiote was actually saying
02:42We are Groot, which just completely threw everyone for a loop.
02:45Like, why are they talking about Guardians of the Galaxy inside the Venom movies?
02:48Now we get a much clearer version of that voiceover.
02:51They just polished the trailer, I'm assuming, or they polished his voiceover dialogue
02:54so it's easier to actually understand what he's saying.
02:57And it's a scene of Eddie talking to the symbiote in the middle of a fight
03:00with a couple different Xenophage teaming up on it,
03:03asking it if there's a chance, like there's a chance that they survive this fight that they're in.
03:08And instead of the We are Groot that confused people before, it's actually saying We are screwed.
03:13More in line with the whole concept that this is the last dance,
03:16Tom Hardy himself posted one of the recent promos
03:19and on it his caption basically was saying goodbye to the Venom character.
03:24This is what his statement reads.
03:26Thank you for a great time and seven years.
03:28I've had the best experience at Sony working with Venom.
03:31This is me and the big guy talking about the Venom symbiote.
03:34Last outing. Going out with a bang. Come see us off.
03:37Last in the trilogy and done. Heart emoji.

03:44Throughout all the different trailers you see them talking about this being the last dance,
03:47like they might die during this fight with the Xenophage, with Knull.
03:50Knull might wind up killing them at some point.
03:53Here's the thing about that. Obviously there's a big twist.
03:55Obviously they're trying to mislead you so you think that it's the last movie
03:58just to get people hyped up to see this as the last actual movie in the Venom trilogy.
04:02But that's the reality of it is it's only the last movie in the Venom trilogy.
04:07Not the last time you actually see anybody with the Venom symbiote.
04:11Tom Hardy is basically explaining that he signed a deal to do a trilogy of Venom movies at Sony.
04:16Now the trilogy is over. His deal is done.
04:19But this isn't the last time that you will ever see Tom Hardy involved
04:23with Spider-Man related movies or with Venom related movies
04:26or the last time you see the Venom symbiote.
04:28Primarily because they're pivoting towards more Spider-Man symbiote of it all
04:32with the big Knull crossover.
04:34Like he's meant to be their big Thanos level upgrade villain in the Venomverse
04:38like in the Sony movies that will help cross things over with the MCU Spider-Man movies.
04:44There are a lot of people that were wondering if Spider-Man 4 is going to be
04:47turned into like the King and Black storyline.
04:49I don't know if they're going to go that hard into King and Black.
04:52But I do think that the Knull crossover movie that they're building up
04:55towards a lot of these Spider-Man characters will be based somewhat
04:58on the King and Black storyline.
05:00So the early theory is that what we'll see eventually is they'll make us believe
05:04that Eddie dies at the end of Venom, let there be carnage.
05:06He might not die, but they'll make us believe that he's dead.
05:09Tom Holland will eventually get the symbiote at some point
05:12probably during Spider-Man 4.
05:14They've been teasing a multiverse storyline with the Venom character
05:17in this last movie too, explaining how that's possible that the symbiote
05:21could wind up making its way back to the MCU.
05:24You also remember that there's a piece of the symbiote that was left in the MCU
05:27at the end of Spider-Man No Way Home.
05:29In early theory, it's also possible that when Tom Holland's Spider-Man
05:33gets his Spider-Man symbiote, the voice in his head is Tom Hardy
05:38doing the voice and that's how Tom Hardy comes back.
05:41So it's not him running around in the Venom symbiote like him co-starring
05:45with Tom Holland physically on screen.
05:47It's just his voiceover with Tom Holland wearing the symbiote.
05:51So you have Tom Holland wearing the symbiote through multiple future
05:54Spider-Man movies, Avengers 5, Avengers Secret Wars
05:57with Tom Hardy doing the Venom symbiote voice in his ear
06:00the same way you hear doing the voice in all these Venom trailers.
06:08And with it, they just bring that comedic tone that they have with the symbiote
06:11in all these movies too, like the tone of the Venom movies is very comedic.
06:15But for those you asking who is actually playing the Noel character
06:19and what is it that Venom has that he wants so badly during this last movie.
06:23Supposedly is actually going to be Andy Serkis himself playing Noel
06:28not Norman Reedus or any other character.
06:31There's been a lot of fan castings, a lot of fan art out there
06:34the last couple months we started to get trailers.
06:36But I do think the idea that Andy Serkis is playing the character
06:39sounds way more realistic because he directed the Venom Let There Be Carnage movie.
06:43One of the biggest reasons why he's not directing the third movie
06:46because the second movie did make a lot of money for Sony
06:49way more money than it's other Spider-Man spinoff movies have made.
06:52You think they want to bring him back to direct the third movie
06:55but it's likely because they want him to play Noel
06:58and it's just too much work to actually be Noel
07:00and like be a really big character in multiple upcoming movies
07:03and do a good job of directing this third movie.
07:06Also, Warner Brothers is bringing Andy Serkis back
07:09to direct the new Lord of the Rings Gollum movie that it's doing
07:12it's actually making multiple Gollum movies.
07:14So there's just way too much that Andy Serkis is doing right now
07:17to actually direct a movie.
07:18So it just makes more sense that they're using him in a more actorly kind of role
07:22and he's just helping them advise with all the motion capture that they do
07:25because he's actually brought on to a lot of other movies
07:28to advise on motion capture performance.
07:31For example, Mark Ruffalo has done more motion capture work
07:34inside the MCU than any other MCU actor
07:37with the exception of Andy Serkis
07:40who if you look at all the movies that he's done
07:42has done way more motion capture in all movies
07:45but most of his motion capture work was in other non-MCU movies.
07:49He's gotten so good at that that like the last 25 plus years
07:52other movies that have nothing to do with comic books
07:55or genre or anything like that will bring him on to advise
07:58on their motion capture performances
08:00just to help actors who don't have experience doing motion capture like that.
08:04So it sounds like they're just bringing in the master to play their Noel character
08:07which will probably be a lot of motion capture as you would expect.
08:10My guess is we might get a teaser for his face reveal
08:13in like the last big promo
08:15but it's also possible that Sony just holds that back for the actual movie itself
08:18so it is a bit of a surprise.
08:20And because so much of the newer trailer footage
08:23focuses on Eddie talking to the Venom symbiote
08:26about what it is that they have that Noel wants
08:29it's apparently not going to be the all black
08:32the primal symbiote, the necro sword.
08:34Supposedly when the movie begins Noel already has the all black.
08:38If you're not familiar with the Noel comics
08:40the all black is basically the first symbiote
08:43it's a piece of himself that he created to kill a bunch of celestials
08:47for instance, the dead head of nowhere that you see in the guardians of the galaxy movie
08:51is a celestial that he beheaded.
08:53This also gets into a lot of Marvel lore in the king and black storyline
08:57in Noel's overarching mission, like what it is that he wants so badly.
09:01What it seems like they're doing with him during Venom the last dance
09:04is that he's on his quest to conquer the multiverse
09:07like all of reality using his position as king and black
09:11but needs what's probably dot dot dot the codex from the Venom symbiote
09:16and that's going to allow him to become the king of the black spaces between universes
09:22the actual title king and black refers to the ruler of the space between universes
09:27if you haven't read the king and black storyline
09:29or you're not familiar with the Noel comics
09:31inside the larger Venom comics
09:33the whole idea is that Noel was selected by the celestials
09:36to become the next king and black
09:38but he rebelled against them and tried to use his position
09:41to basically take over the entire multiverse
09:43so the idea is that Noel has to stop him
09:45with the help of a bunch of other Marvel characters
09:47now in the comics king and black is like a big crossover storyline
09:51involving a lot of non-Spider-Man characters
09:53like the Avengers characters, everybody else in the Marvel universe
09:56they'd obviously have to tune that a little bit differently
09:58for the live-action movies
10:00and it sounds like it'll be more of just like a Spider-Man type of larger crossover
10:04with Tom Holland's Spider-Man and other Spider-Man related characters
10:07but there's been reports that the plan going forward
10:10is that Tom Holland will have the symbiote for multiple movies
10:13it won't be a one and done Tobey Maguire Spider-Man 3 kind of situation
10:17where like he gets it during the movie
10:18but then he also gets rid of it by the end of the same movie
10:21so it sounds like he gets the symbiote during Spider-Man 4 at some point
10:25then has it through Avengers 5, Secret Wars
10:28and maybe like another Spider-Man movie after that
10:30and then loses it during the end of that second Spider-Man solo movie
10:34which would be like Spider-Man 5 or something like that
10:36remains to be seen how quippy they're going to make Tom Hardy's voice
10:40as the Venom symbiote in Spider-Man's head
10:43when he has the symbiote
10:44for example, there's a joke at the end of the Venom trailer here
10:46where you hear the symbiote singing the lyrics to David Bowie's Space Odyssey song
10:51inside Eddie's head along with Reese Ephons and the boy while he's playing
10:55and Eddie is just replying saying shoot me now
10:57and also wondering how the symbiote even knows the lyrics to Space Odyssey
11:02like how do you know the song if we've never actually heard the song
11:05while he's been bonded to the symbiote
11:07my assumption is that he heard the song playing on the radio
11:10when he was bonded to some other character or something like that
11:13just because we have seen the symbiote bond with other characters besides Eddie
11:16during the previous Venom movies
11:18for those you asking about Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield
11:21this was going to be questions about them
11:22because Andrew Garfield just released a new movie with Florence Pugh
11:25and he's been asked all kinds of Spider-Man questions
11:27like will you come back and play your version of the amazing Spider-Man
11:30the amazing Peter number three
11:32and he's just been posting funny videos talking about his stories
11:35of coming back as Spider-Man during No Way Home
11:37and more recently just saying that he would come back for even more Spider-Man
11:41if the story is right like he be happy to come back
11:44the way that everybody's talking now behind the scenes
11:46I don't expect to see him or Tobey in Spider-Man 4
11:50but it's a never say never kind of situation
11:52so like just don't hold your breath on yes or no right now
11:55but it does seem like with each passing day
11:58Spider-Man 4 is getting less and less of a friendly neighborhood ground-level Spider-Man movie
12:03and more and more of a big multiverse movie
12:06so like that or hate it will see how that turns out
12:09it just sounds like Sony is trying to do everything it can to make it even bigger
12:13than say like Avengers infinity war and Spider-Man No Way Home
12:16like make it a big Avengers level multiverse movie again
12:19but because they are ramping up for production pretty soon
12:22of course will be getting more news about that
12:24so I'll do more Spider-Man videos
12:25as we hear more about what's happening with the future of those characters
12:28there's a bunch of big stuff coming up
12:30they just released Deadpool and Wolverine on home video too
