00:29back everyone it's Charlie Sony dropped a brand-new venom the last dance trailer
00:33so we'll break it all down there's a couple interesting scenes here where
00:36they're teasing the symbiote hive mind and no surfacing inside the venom
00:40universe so we'll break it all down if you're brand new to the channel be sure
00:44to subscribe to get all the videos they also said they're releasing an even
00:47longer trailer at the end of this week of course I will do a video for whatever
00:51that winds up being when they release it but there's a bunch of new scenes in
00:54this trailer that we haven't seen before so just starting at the beginning of the
00:57trailer going through shot by shot they start with venom on that plane that is a
01:01couple fight scenes with him against the Xenophage on the plane but this scene
01:05starts with him attached to the plane using the symbiote to just like sucker
01:08attach himself to the outside of the plane they make a big Tom Cruise joke
01:12like Eddie makes a Tom Cruise joke because Tom Cruise in real life is
01:16really infamous for doing his own very very dangerous stunts like this is him
01:20on top of the Burj Khalifa the funny Marvel connection is that in the very
01:23early 2000s Tom Cruise was originally supposed to be the first version of
01:28Iron Man in the MCU like when they were first developing an Iron Man movie he
01:32was their go-to guy Kevin Feige actually said the reason why it wasn't Tom Cruise
01:37like why eventually wound up being Robert Downey Jr. in 2008 why it took
01:40him so long is because at the time they were developing that Tom Cruise Iron Man
01:44movie Tom Cruise was asking for more money than the studio was willing to
01:49spend on a comic book movie cut to present day and how much difference
01:53Robert Downey Jr. made in the character like he was born to play the character now he's
01:56being paid over 85 million dollars for each of the upcoming Avengers movies
02:01Avengers 5 doomsday and Avengers 6 secret wars so that's like a hundred and
02:05seventy million dollars for two Avengers movies talk about spending too much
02:10money on a single actor when the symbiote says I told you we could fly
02:14that's also meant to be a sly wink at the more recent venom comics where they
02:18introduced the concept of venom wings like basically the symbiote being able to
02:21create its own wings from the material the symbiote maybe maybe we'll see a
02:26version that during this movie they wanted to keep the venom movies that the
02:29live-action venom movies fairly grounded which is why they haven't got into too
02:33much cosmic stuff like they just started to slowly bump up against the cosmic
02:37side of venom and Noel and all that stuff then he gets into that fight with
02:41one of the Xeno phage that we've seen in all the previous trailers freaking out
02:44we get the voiceover the venom symbiote talking to Eddie saying that his home
02:48has found them making it sound like it's the Xeno phage from their plant
02:52their natural predators have been attracted to planet earth and found all
02:55the symbiotes running around there was actually a storyline from the comics
02:58that I think they're partially adapting for this movie called venom the hunted
03:02where the Xeno phage are attracted to earth because of a bunch of different
03:05symbiotes that are running around in a lot of the symbiotes that were featured
03:09in that story are seemingly featured in this trailer like lasher for instance
03:12this new symbiote that's the unstoppable army that Orwell Taylor's characters
03:17talking about during the trailer there's a short scene of Juno temples
03:20Patricia Robertson character from the comics seeing what seems like the Xeno
03:23phage crashing to planet earth then we start to see what seems like the symbiote
03:29hive might like depictions of the actual hive mind itself the way all the
03:32symbiotes are connected when they do the transition titles. So on this one where
03:35they just say the date like all this is being released October 25th look in the
03:38background it all the different tendrils of the symbiote connected to each other
03:42there's red and black mixed in like red tendrils and black tendrils each time
03:47they flash to one of these title screens with this type of symbiote hive mind
03:52connection in the background it seemingly forms into a symbiote in the
03:55middle like there's a ball forming in the middle like another symbiote is
03:59surfacing there's a lot of early speculation that they're using this is
04:02sort of the path to the resurfacing of the Noel character within the venom
04:06universe he's become a really huge character in the more recent venom
04:10comics he's a bit of an older character the Donny Cates turned into a much
04:13bigger character in much more recent times basically serving as an
04:16overarching antagonist for almost the entire marvel universe, but essentially
04:21for Sony like over on their venom side of the Spider-Man spinoff movies that
04:24they're doing he would be sort of like the Thanos level villain for them to do
04:28for all these Spider-Man spinoff movies. I do not expect this movie to be like a
04:33full-on Noel story like there might be some Noel stuff that they tease during
04:37this doing a full-on venom versus Noel kind of movie would be more like them
04:41doing their own version of Avengers infinity war and Avengers endgame like
04:45it almost be too much for them to also through that storyline into this venom
04:49movie and keep the movie under a $300 million budget. So I still think the
04:53xenophage just in general are meant to be the actual main antagonist of this
04:57movie when Patricia Robertson is talking to someone saying this world can't
05:01survive if you to stay together. It sounds like they're implying she's
05:05talking to the venom character the early theory is that what she's
05:08referring to is their connection is symbiote like all the symbiote surfacing
05:13on planet earth the symbiote spawning like you see Orwell Taylor capturing a
05:16piece of symbiote that spawned at the bar from Spider-Man no way home, which
05:20seems like it's in the venom universe. Now there's a bunch of new symbiote the
05:23start to be created on planet earth and that's what's attracting the xenophage
05:27like from the venom hunted storyline. So it's threatening planet earth because
05:31the xenophage are going to come completely destroy earth in their quest
05:34to get all the symbiotes what they also might be teasing here side note like
05:39sort of like the secret plot underneath all this like they're mostly worried
05:42about the xenophage, but underneath all that the idea is that you get enough
05:45symbiotes on planet earth their hive mind begins to connect and that also
05:49might help no resurface in this universe and reassert control over all symbiotes
05:55everywhere in the venom universe. Most of the rest the new footage here
05:59throughout this trailer is just the xenophage in different scenes coming for
06:03the venom symbiote. They also end this trailer with the funny scene of him in
06:06Vegas going outside of one of the casinos just slapping one of these dudes
06:10and stealing his tux. Originally I just assumed that the venom symbiote turned
06:15itself into the actual tuxedo clothing like what would they need to knock
06:19someone out to steal his clothing if the symbiote could just turn itself into a
06:22tuxedo. Personally I think the most interesting thing in all this new
06:26trailer footage is the idea of actually seeing a version of the symbiote hive
06:29mind just because of the way they talked about it during venom let there be
06:32carnage post credit scene in how it basically connected them to all the
06:35Spider-Man mythos in the MCU and in the Tobey Maguire universe all the other
06:40universes to 80 billion light years of hive knowledge across universes just the
06:47smallest fraction of the things we symbiotes have experience the way they
06:52describe the symbiote hive mind in the comics. This also gets into a little bit
06:55of the know mythology to the symbiote hive mind is a mental and metaphysical
06:59realm to physically connect symbiotes to one another and to their God no
07:04because is called God of symbiotes. He created all the symbiotes. They're
07:08basically created from pieces of him, but the other big twist they introduced with
07:12the symbiote hive mind is that the hive mind itself serves as an afterlife for
07:17deceased symbiotes and their hosts who can also resurface from that afterlife.
07:22I don't know that the gonna get that crazy with that concept in this movie.
07:26Just like I said the trying to keep the venom movies relatively grounded for now with
07:31very little cosmic stuff, but it sounds like they're trying to create a couple
07:34avenues for them to do more spinoffs. You know, not necessarily venom solo movies,
07:38but introduce these other characters in more cosmic ways down the road. They
07:42call this movie venom the last dance is meant to be a reference to the Chicago
07:46bulls the last dance. If you haven't seen that documentary. It's all about like
07:49their final big run during the 90s when all the craziest best players were on
07:54the same team after that run they all broke up it all went to separate teams.
07:58So it was like the last dance for this epic team up what Sony wants you to
08:03think is that this might be the last dance for venom symbiote and Eddie
08:07together like they might actually have to break up with the way they've been
08:10talking about it behind the scenes with Kevin Feige's been talking about Tom Hardy's
08:13that like everybody wants to see him during secret wars. Everybody wants to
08:17see him actually crossover with Spider-Man in an actual scene. They were
08:20gonna do that during Spider-Man no way home, but that was before they knew they
08:24were going to get Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield back there were a whole
08:27bunch of deleted scenes where you see Tom Holland actually getting that piece
08:30of the symbiote like this is a legit deleted scene from Spider-Man no way
08:33home. I put in a bunch of my videos before, but I think a lot of people don't
08:36realize this is actually meant to be something that they were going to do
08:39during Spider-Man no way home. The reason why you didn't see this in the movie is
08:43because they had so much Andrew Garfield Tobey Maguire stuff and that they felt
08:47like the movie was strong enough with what they did go with they could just
08:50save Spider-Man getting the symbiote for like a future movie and it sounds
08:55like they're gonna say that for avengers secret wars Marvel is infamous for doing
08:59that like amazing deleted scenes. Why didn't this make it into the movie
09:02because there was already a bunch of stuff in the film and they wanted to
09:05save big moments if possible for future film so they had stuff to fall back on
09:09in the future, but the actual symbiote hive mind was something that Noel
09:13himself created. So part of the idea is that he controls the symbiote hive mind.
09:18So the idea that you get enough symbiotes on planet earth. It might
09:21recreate this hive connection between them. So that might be another big
09:24threat that they don't know about to like the end of the movie when it comes
09:28to characters like Noel like really big cosmic stuff just based on the way it
09:32seems that trailers playing out with the xenophage the villains was happening
09:35with Orwell Taylor the other symbiotes. It seems like that would be more like a
09:39post credits kind of thing like very end of the movie teaser. So be sure when
09:44you're going to see this movie to couch your expectations like don't go into the
09:47movie expecting to see a ton of Noel stuff. The interesting thing about that
09:52though is there was a deleted scene from venom let there be carnage with the
09:55carnage character teasing the Noel character small fingers have an
10:01opportunity to make a mark on this world so indelible. Why look to God when you
10:09have him right here. The father of all humans are pestilence. We can create
10:17a new race. My guess is they just decided that it was too much of the scene just
10:22became too much for the movie like we don't want to deal with all the story
10:25yet we can save this whole concept for much much later like a whole other movie
10:29everybody let me know in the comments if they eventually do the Noel character
10:33and they're not going to do more venom solo movies. How do you want them to do
10:37Noel inside this whole Sony universe in the future they can even do a movie just
10:42call it King in black and do it is like a team up with other characters that
10:45they want to introduce like they said there's a much longer trailer with even
10:49more new footage they're releasing at the end of this week of course I will do
