DAREDEVIL BORN AGAIN TRAILER 2025_ The Punisher, Bullseye & Things You Missed

00:00Welcome back everyone it's Charlie marvel just dropped a brand-new trailer for daredevil
00:10born again and a bunch of other trailers to I have footage for everything.
00:14So I will try to do videos for all the trailers that marvel just dumped as you can see they
00:19say the series is dropping March 2025 so wanted to wait that long the probably drop a nice
00:24shiny version of the trailer later this year when Agatha comes out.
00:27That's kind of like the janky potato quality version the trailer, but it's still good enough
00:31we get a pretty good idea what's going on during the series and if it wasn't clear everything
00:35from before during the marvel netflix era is still canon.
00:38That's actually a change they made when they sort of rebooted the show like they rebooted
00:42the reboot the actual story is a combination of devil's reign in the comics when Kingpin
00:46becomes mayor and the muse arc was a much more recent villain as you can see in the
00:51trailer.
00:52There's like a really cool meeting in the diner between Kingpin and daredevil and they're
00:55trying to agree to disagree about how to deal with the muse character essentially even
01:00though Kingpin is was going to be daredevil's biggest villain part of the idea.
01:03I think is that they're forced to work together to deal with muse during the season because
01:08now the Kingpin is becoming mayor he's working above board, but still doing all these shady
01:12things.
01:13So even though he's trying to cloak himself in righteousness like look at me.
01:16I'm gonna fix New York City all these problems all these vigilantes were gonna get rid of
01:20daredevil can't go after him the same way like he's forced to actually have to work
01:23with them.
01:24There couple very notable characters that you recognize during this like Punisher's
01:27back Jon Bernthal is back as Punisher.
01:29I know people be confused like why is he attacking Matt and why does Matt have to remind him
01:33that he is Matt Murdock like it's Matt Murdock don't attack me you want to put the hatchet
01:37down what's going on here it would not be Punisher if you found him after all these
01:41years we haven't seen him and he's just completely unhinged just starting at the beginning of
01:45the trailer footage.
01:46So you see Matt Murdock as lawyer going to prison to meet with the Hector Ayala version
01:50of white tiger like the original version of white tiger.
01:53He tells them people have gone missing all sudden nobody seems to care the city needs
01:56a hero and then they show you flashbacks of how he wound up in prison like he gets involved
02:01in this altercation in the subway.
02:03It looks like he kills some mugger here this trying to steal from someone when he says
02:07someone has to protect the streets.
02:09The person flipping the knife seems like the muse character.
02:13He says someone has to protect the streets out there like obviously he's talking about
02:16there being a need for the daredevil character without saying in so many words like he doesn't
02:21know that Matt Murdock is the daredevil so daredevil is sitting there just kind of chuckling
02:24to himself like aha yes the city does need a protector need someone like me when he says
02:29people are going missing the mural on the wall here is actually right out of the muse
02:33comic muse draws it and he actually hates kingpin.
02:36So part of the idea is that even though muses the villain.
02:39He also hates kingpin that sort of feeds into the idea the kingpin wants to get rid of quote
02:44unquote dangerous vigilantes and is forced to work with Matt Murdock lawyer, but also
02:48knows that he is daredevil and wants to get rid of him as daredevil as well to kingpin
02:53trying to use this is an excuse to get rid of all the vigilantes in New York City, which
02:57includes people like Spider-Man then they cut in footage from a completely different
03:01scene of a bank robbery with Matt Murdock there we actually see Kamala Khan's father
03:07working at the bank.
03:08So this bit of a crossover with the miss Marvel series here people wondering what's going
03:12on here.
03:13I'm assuming that he just works inside the city at this bank like daredevil has not gone
03:16to Jersey City where Kamala Khan lives is that he's somewhere in this bank in New York
03:20City and Kamala Khan's father just happens to work here love the fact that the villain
03:25who's robbing the bank here has the red hood very ironic they see white tiger putting on
03:30his suit talking about the calling that he feels as a superhero is a vigilante like it's
03:35more than just wearing the suit.
03:37It's all about this grand idea sort of the higher meeting the higher calling that he
03:41feels to be a vigilante protecting the streets this necklace that he wears is also right
03:46out of the comics to but you can kind of see because this is daredevil the kind of
03:50going with the vibe of the original series people's costumes tend to look a little more
03:53real world than daredevil senses Kingpin walking down the stairs here like you can see him
03:58using his daredevil sense there's a quick montage of a couple images in this mural here
04:03is by the muse character they start teasing the actual villain of the series notice the
04:07crown on his mural here.
04:09This is meant to be a drawing of Kingpin so to speak this is the teaser that he slowly
04:13going after Kingpin then they have that funny moment where he said you don't realize people
04:17need a hero and he just kind of chuckles to himself because daredevil is a hero it just
04:21that white tiger doesn't know that he's daredevil.
04:24Then we get another new version of the marvel television logo.
04:27So I talked about this is some of my previous series there been a couple series so far where
04:31they started branding them differently.
04:33So originally we just had the marvel studios intro logo the long version to play before
04:38all the TV shows and all the movies.
04:40Now what they've done is is sort of divided marvel into a bunch of different sub brands.
04:44So for instance X-Men 97 has a title that says marvel animation.
04:48This is for marvel television in the movie still have the traditional marvel studios
04:52intro logo.
04:53So this is meant to be daredevil's new version of that just like the style of all the other
04:58intro logos they flash a bunch of the daredevil comics inside the letters here.
05:02Then they cut up that scene with them in the diner talking to each other daredevil and
05:06Kingpin with them talking about the state of New York City in the state of their sort
05:10of relationship right now where it sort of exists as they flash between a bunch of different
05:14scenes in different parts of the episodes daredevil says New York has been what is always
05:18been out for blood as they continue to flashback that subway attack.
05:22We basically see a white tiger winds up in prison killing that dude in the subway.
05:26We get our first look at Bucky Nelson and Karen page.
05:29Not sure if this is a flashback or this is in present-day will see then he says the entire
05:33system is against you.
05:35This is meant to be white tiger in prison that you see daredevil in the courtroom getting
05:39ready for a trial was a no more comments part of the idea I think in the original version
05:43of the season before they sort of rebooted the reboot when they were going to do this
05:47completely different version of daredevil born again.
05:49I think a lot of the season was going to be based on the trial of the white tiger from
05:53the comics is still a big part of the season, but I don't think it's nearly as big a part
05:56of the story as it was originally we see more that bank robbery with Kamala Khan's father
06:01trying to not get shot.
06:02Then we see a shot of Kingpin on a rooftop looking down at the city.
06:06This is actually a daredevil shot like he's in a daredevil position, because normally
06:09when you see someone looking down over the rooftops.
06:11It's daredevil doing this.
06:12I think this is meant to show the juxtaposition of where Kingpin's character is at this season
06:16like he's trying to fix New York City, but he's doing it in a very Kingpin kind of way
06:21like fix New York City by basically taking away a lot of people's freedoms sort of like
06:25a dark rain era of marvel kind of situation as daredevil says it's kind of like David
06:30and Goliath he's meant to be the Goliath Kingpin is meant to be the Goliath and daredevil is
06:34meant to be the David lot of religious iconography because daredevil very religious character
06:39everybody breaking out all those old Bible lessons that they learned in church that forgot
06:43about then we finally see the Punisher come back and come after daredevil for whatever
06:47reason he just doesn't recognize him immediately.
06:50Probably because he didn't see him without his mask on before my assumption is this confirms
06:55that even though they didn't get snapped like Punisher didn't get snapped in daredevil didn't
06:59get snapped because we saw during the echo series.
07:00He was still trying to be a superhero during that five-year time jump.
07:03Even if they cross paths during the five-year time jump.
07:06He still didn't see daredevil with his mask off like they didn't spend that much time
07:10together.
07:11Unless something really crazy has happened to Punisher.
07:13I think that's the only logical way to explain why he doesn't recognize Matt Murdock because
07:17he's pretty recognizable kind of looks like Punisher hasn't shaved in a while to like
07:21I said totally unhinged exactly what you would expect from the Punisher.
07:25Then we see more that bank robbery with the gun starting to go off and daredevil actually
07:29moving into action.
07:30But while he's in his regular lawyer clothes as Matt Murdock.
07:34Then we finally see bullseye come back.
07:36We actually got some footage of him behind the scenes coming after Karen page.
07:39It seems like he's just trying to carry that plot forward from the end of season three.
07:43If you remember he was trying to kill Karen page during the original marvel Netflix series.
07:47My guess is that he just trying to finish the job and he'll probably get a couple different
07:50suits during the series, but here he still in prison.
07:53If you remember he got his metal spine during the original daredevil Netflix series now
07:57because Captain America brave new world is introducing adamantium to the MCU.
08:02Maybe they can also canonize that his spine is adamantium like it is in the comics.
08:06They flash a couple different scenes with Matt Murdock looking like he's walking through
08:09an election rally for kingpin.
08:11Remember he's running for mayor during the events of the series.
08:14I think the beginning he might still be running for mayor in later in the series he's already
08:17become Maryland will be a little bit of a time jump during the end of the echo series
08:21he was just getting the idea to run for mayor so like obviously this takes place after the
08:24events of echo.
08:26Then he says things can't go unchecked.
08:28This is when he's still in the diner talking to kingpin just talking about how he's not
08:31going to let kingpin do whatever he feels like doing.
08:34We see the scene of kingpin smashing the hell out of someone Hulk smash, but this time make
08:39a kingpin him smashing the Russian in the car door still probably one of the all-time
08:44best kingpin scenes from the daredevil Netflix series they flash that title card the devil's
08:49work is never done essentially we see five different daredevil costumes we just see the
08:54helmets but is essentially five different daredevil costumes that he'll wear during
08:58the series at some point.
08:59I think the idea with the different costumes is there meant to represent the different
09:02states of his mind as he sort of evolves as a character across the series.
09:07Some of these you'll recognize like the one in the middle is the one that he wore during
09:10she hooked the yellow and red suit the one to the left of that is his traditional red
09:13suit that he wore during the daredevil Netflix series the one on the far right.
09:17I think is meant to be his new red suit.
09:20There's a black one in between those.
09:21I think this is either meant to be his back in black suit or you could think of it as
09:24a shadow land suit all these suits are meant to be the reason why he came to LA during
09:28the she hulk series.
09:29Remember he was visiting his quote-unquote Taylor that made the suits for him.
09:33Then we see in the courtroom we see a shot of white tiger during a different part of
09:36the series out in his suit just try to be vigilante that he says sometimes peace needs
09:41to be broken.
09:42You see him dancing with someone while he still talking to kingpin during different
09:45scenes they cut together.
09:46I'm not sure this character is that he's dancing with this scene of the person in the fog.
09:50I think is meant to be bullseye when he comes for Karen page.
09:53I think it's been to be part of the scenes here that we saw behind the scenes.
09:56Then we finally get a shot of the muse villain.
09:58Everybody will recognize Vanessa from the daredevil Netflix series.
10:01She came back originally in the pre reboot version of this.
10:04It was a different version of Vanessa.
10:06So I think fans complained enough that marvels like you know let's bring back the original
10:09Vanessa really glad that they did that because originally foggy Nelson and Karen page were
10:13going to be killed off to so I think people would've been really pissed off they to go
10:17with that original version.
10:18Then we get a couple shots of daredevil in his daredevil suit they have a bit of a funny
10:22moment at the diner where he says they really do understand each other and he basically
10:26tells kingpin that if he steps across the light like if he goes too far the daredevil
10:30be there to stop him just like he always has then kingpins reply should tell you everything
10:35you need to know about the continuity of the series because he says is this Matt Murdock
10:39telling me to take caution or is this your darker half basically say the man in the red
10:43suit that's what he calls him when he's talking to other people on his team like during the
10:47echo series.
10:48He called them the man in the red suit he didn't say daredevil, but he did learn that
10:51Matt Murdock was daredevil at the end of daredevil season three like he ripped his mask off as
10:55he was fighting him like right free to come down he said I beat you as he ripped his mask
10:59off showing his face.
11:01So part of the idea is the kingpin can't get rid of Matt Murdock because he wants to get
11:05rid of daredevil obviously like he really hates daredevil, but daredevil knows about
11:09all the shady stuff he's done like he has all this dirt on him.
11:13So kingpin running for mayor sort of puts them in a weird position where they can't
11:16totally take each other down and they're both trying to fix New York City in their
11:20own way being forced to work with each other because of this muse villain.
11:24Then we see the fight scene of daredevil versus the muse villain in his red suit.
11:28There's another fight scene of him in the bank and he is beating the hell out of muse.
11:32Then they in the trailer with that funny moment of Kamala Khan's father being shocked that
11:35he's taken down this bank robber as what kind of lawyer are you Jesus and he walks out with
11:40that Spider-Man no way home reference a very good one and as they say it's coming out March
11:442025.
11:46As of right now, they've already renewed for season two the gonna start filming season
11:49two pretty soon.
11:50I believe the season one will be eight or nine episodes season two will be the same
11:54originally it was going to be 18 episodes.
11:56I think they just split the story into two parts.
11:58So like season one will be the first part of that season two will be the second part
12:01of that.

12:37So I'll try to do videos for as much of that as quickly as possible, but it take me a couple
12:41days to get through all the different footage.
