00:20greenery, brick walls and the soft hum of French music.

00:25Founded four years ago by Laurent Robert, who hails from the Champagne region of France,

00:30Delia Wine Bistro offers an authentic French dining experience.

00:35It's the perfect escape from city life, whether you're looking to enjoy a boutique wine or

00:40a laid-back meal.

00:42We do mainly what we call in a French way the bistro food, where we can enjoy the frog

00:50A fourth-generation winemaker, Laurent is continuing a legacy that began with his great-grandmother,

01:05Juliet Robert, during World War I.

01:08Now he has brought his expertise to Delia Wine Bistro.

01:13Many years ago, the French wine in Malaysia was either the atas-atas wine or the very

01:19not-so-good quality wine.

01:21So they had a window where we could find and import some boutique-style French wine.

01:27And I try to represent every wine region in France.

01:33Laurent's vision is simple – a relaxed, homey space where hearty food is savoured

01:38and conversations flourish.

01:40Start your meal with their signature escargot, tender snails bathed in garlicky herb butter.

01:47It's perfect with crusty bread.

01:50For the adventurous, the steak tartare, seasoned with French mustard, offers a delightful balance

01:56of flavours that may well turn you into a lover of raw meat.

02:00Meanwhile, the sweetbread, made from cow pancreas, is a delicate French specialty that could

02:06easily be mistaken for veal or chicken.

02:10The standout dish has to be the cassoulet, a rustic blend of duck confit, pork sausage,

02:16pork belly and white beans – a true showcase of French home cooking.
