00:00By 2050, there will be more plastic in the oceans than fish.
00:13Despite this, plastic usage year on year is still increasing.
00:16And that's just because there aren't enough alternatives out there for the packaging we
00:20use.
00:21And that's where we come in.
00:22We've been developing the world's first zero-plastic paper bottle.
00:47The bottle here is made out of three parts.
00:49You've got the external paper casing.
00:51This is made out of recycled newspapers.
00:53Obviously, if you put any liquid in that, it would just leak straight away.
00:56So we just asked a very simple question.
00:58What is waterproof in nature?
01:00It turns out loads of stuff is.
01:02And so what we've done is blended about 26 different materials into our liner.
01:08The third part of the bottle is our capping system.
01:10This is made out of recycled tinplate, whether that's aluminium, stainless steel, or the
01:14recycled tinplate, depending on what we're bottling.
01:18To finish the bottle, we use recycled paper labels with soy-based eco-friendly inks.
01:35We're designing a bespoke machine that will be able to create thousands of these bottles
01:38every day that we're then going to lease to companies all over the world, big and small,
01:42to help them set up their own production of paper bottles.
