00:12The Office of the Ombudsman suspended the Mayor and Vice-Mayor and 8 Councilors of Porac, Pampanga.

00:17Due to gross neglect of duty,

00:19Lockheed South 99,

00:21raided the Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator in the town.

00:24Mayor Jaime Capil,

00:26Vice-Mayor Francis Lawrence Tamayo,

00:28and the Councilors of Porac, Pampanga were suspended.

00:30Emerald Vital, Licensing Assistant,

00:33and the Officer-in-Charge of the Business Permit and Licensing Office were suspended.

00:36The Preventive Suspension Order was revoked

00:38due to the complaint of the DLG.

00:40Mayor Capil was forced to validate

00:43the document of the Business Permit Application

00:45of Lockheed South 99.

00:46Capil's neglect of duty is clear

00:49that he will issue a Business Permit

00:51according to Vital's recommendation

00:52until December 31, 2023.

00:55Even though his Pagkwar License

00:57is only until October 27, 2023.

00:59The DLG also said that Capil was forced to act

01:02on the Business Permit of Lockheed South 99

01:04when his Pagkwar License was completely violated,

01:07even though he did not take action against the crimes

01:09inside the so-called establishment.

01:15in Lockheed South 99,

01:16Vice-Mayor Tamayo and the Councilors of Porac, Pampanga were suspended.

01:18According to the Ombudsman,

01:19there is a strong evidence of guilt

01:21against the officials of Porac LGU.

01:24The Ombudsman explained that the preventive suspension

01:27is to avoid any possible influence on the case.

01:30The order will be executed immediately

01:32within 6 months

01:33and they will not receive a salary.

01:35On June 7, the operation was launched

01:38in Pogo, Porac, Pampanga.

01:40In the operation,

01:41more than 200 people,

01:42including Filipinos, Chinese and other nationalities,

01:45were rescued.
