00:06The Department of Migrant Workers has announced that it is ready to rescue our countrymen who are trapped in the chaos in Lebanon.
00:14According to DMW Secretary Hans Leo Kakdang, President Ferdinand R. Marquez Jr. continues to urge the rescue of our countrymen there.
00:24The situation there is on alert level 4.
00:28In fact, all government assets and resources will be used to rescue the OFWs from Lebanon.
00:38As of now, 11 OFWs have arrived in the country from Lebanon this weekend.
00:45192 OFWs are currently booked for three separate commercial flights expected to depart from Oct. 8 to Oct. 11.
00:57DMW also announced that 179 OFWs are currently staying in shelters in Beirut.
