00:00Good morning! Here is the PTV Balita Ngayon.
00:09The Philippine Area of Responsibility is currently monitoring the low-pressure area outside.
00:17I was able to see this 1,605 kilometers from the northeastern Mindanao.
00:24There is a low chance that this will become a typhoon in the next 24 hours and there will be no direct effect on the country.
00:32However, there is still hope that this will enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility in the next few days.
00:42For now, there is an easterly breeze from the Pacific Ocean in the eastern part of Luzon and Visayas where isolated rain is expected.
00:53On Tuesday, there will be a high chance of rain, thunderstorms, and landslides in the eastern part of Luzon, particularly in the mainland, Cagayan Valley due to the shear line.
01:04Residents are being careful in flooding and landslides.
01:11President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. encouraged Filipinos to pray for those who were victims of Hurricane Christine.
01:20The President issued Proclamation No. 728 to declare November 4 as Tomorrow's Day of National Mourning.
01:30The Philippine Area of Responsibility will be reduced to half-mast in all government offices from Pagbukang Liwayway to Takipsilim.
01:39In the last page of the NDRRMC, 150 people were reported dead after Hurricane Christine.
01:51The Department of National Defense and Office of Civil Defense expressed their gratitude to the Malaysian Government for their assistance to those affected by Hurricane Christine.
02:04The Eurocopter Transport Helicopter was deployed to Malaysia with 16 crew members from Oct. 26 to Nov. 2.
02:18Yesterday, a send-off ceremony was held where the OCD recognized the importance of the contribution of the Royal Malaysian Air Force, especially in helping victims of hurricanes in the Bicol Region.
02:31Because of the Eurocopter of Malaysia, which is probably the best and fastest aid distribution in the OCD, DSWD, and Philippine Air Force.
