00:00After the opening two weeks of the year, the Saints were probably the most impressive team
00:08or surprisingly most impressive team around the NFL and offensive juggernaut that had scored 91
00:15total points in each of its first two games, 44 in the first two, including the dismantling of
00:21Dallas week two at the star. Since then, New Orleans has dropped three consecutive games.
00:28They have scored 13 points or less in two of the three, and they lost a divisional game
00:34now two weeks ago in Atlanta to a Falcons team that failed to score an offensive touchdown.
00:40So we thought New Orleans might factor into the divisional race in the NFC South,
00:45and still that could be the case. But the odds are getting much longer,
00:49Jovernary, for New Orleans after five weeks and their team win total and their playoff price
00:55not posted on FanDuel on this Tuesday because of the injury concern around QB Derek Carr.
01:02Yeah, I mean, you saw it last night. I mean, the idea of Jake Hayner holding down the fort
01:08until Derek Carr can come back is a very scary proposition if you are the New Orleans Saints. So
01:14they could be in real trouble if that Derek Carr injury, I think they're in trouble anyway,
01:20but they could be in real trouble here. Don't forget, they got a ton of injuries on the
01:24offensive line as well. And then you put a backup in there, Jake Hayner, yikes. It could get ugly,
01:31way more ugly than before it turns around there for the Saints. And that schedule is not going
01:37to be easy. A lot of those divisional games coming up here and they may not have Derek Carr. That's
01:42that's not good.
