00:00The most interesting part about your journey up is where you started your collegiate career,
00:07where you played your collegiate golf, I should say, at Kent State. Taylor Pendrith,
00:12Mackenzie Hughes also on that team. How did all the Canadians end up at Kent State? I just have
00:17to know who was the one that got this train rolling. Yeah, there's always been a little
00:21bit of a Canadian pipeline to Kent State. And I grew up playing junior golf with Mac Hughes,
00:27and I didn't know Taylor as well until we started at Kent really. We became great friends there,
00:33lived together every year. But the coach, Herb Page, you got to give him a shout out.
00:37I saw him by the way. He was watching you guys at the Texas Games.
00:41Yeah, it was cool to be able to share that with him. He's pretty proud of his guys,
00:45and it was fun to have him there. And he was pretty pumped up. So I guess he's the reason
00:50really he recruited a lot in Canada. And like I said, playing some junior golf with Mac,
00:55he was a couple years ahead of me, and my mind was made up pretty early. I didn't really
01:00shop around much. It's just where I wanted to go. They had some good teams just before us,
01:06you know, knew we could kind of keep that momentum going. It wasn't too far from home
01:12where I grew up in southwestern Ontario, just a five-hour drive or so. Oh, that's great.
01:16It was kind of something as well. I've never really been away from home and obviously did
01:21some traveling, playing amateur and junior golf. But the commute was a nice thing. I was able to
01:28get back home a few times throughout the year. And yeah, I like that about it as well. But
01:33great program, great facilities. And Coach Herb Page did some awesome things and
01:39give him a lot of credit to getting us to where we are today.
