00:00We have seen some data and it has improved, but if we look at, for example, the female entrepreneurship,
00:10today it is only in some sectors, the presence of women in the large sectors of the future,
00:16the artificial intelligence, engineering, all this part is still low.
00:22There are still many women who do not participate, who are not employed, so there are still various points.
00:29What we are asking is this. First of all, we need a cultural change from the families,
00:35because there are often stereotypes. Girls are not good at math, it is not true.
00:41Girls do not have leadership, it is not true. So first of all, we need to make a great cultural change from the families.
00:47Second, it also serves from the point of view of policies, a help to women,
00:52especially in putting together work and work from home.
00:56So, for example, parental leave can help, having asylums available that work at a good price,
01:03because even today, think about women, every woman in the main European countries
01:09does 4.4 hours a day of unpaid work to help their children or the elderly.
01:16So we need policies and we also need a commitment from the companies.
01:20Companies must also put in place the possibility of doing part-time work from afar.
01:31In short, we also need a different organization, we also need to help women become entrepreneurs,
01:36so we need, for example, venture capital, funds that help women become entrepreneurs
01:42and above all we need a more facilitated access to education in scientific subjects,
01:48which are the ones that can give a future.
01:50So there have been improvements, but if we look at the data, there is still a lot to do.
01:55And if there is no development of women, a better putting together the life of work,
02:02with life as mothers and above all the demographic risk in Italy is very serious.
02:09We have 1.2 children for every woman and the demographic is what makes the development,
02:15so either our country can change this aspect or it is problematic.
02:19Of course, this will result in the medium term and in the short term,
02:22perhaps we will also need to think in terms of better migration
02:25and then to be able to get migrants who already have the skills,
02:30who already have the talents and then integrate them into our society, into our companies.
