DR Congo launches mpox vaccination drive, hoping to curb outbreak

The first doses of mpox vaccine are being administered to locals in Goma, as the Democratic Republic of Congo officially launches its vaccination campaign in an attempt to halt the spread of the epidemic. "I've been waiting for this vaccination, especially as I'm often in contact with patients," says a care worker, one of the first to receive the vaccine.
