With the COVID-19 vaccines being rolled out across the world, one of the main questions that people have in mind is: does the brand of vaccine matter?

Dr. Anna Ong-Lim, MD, a professor and chief of the Infectious and Tropical Disease in Pedriatrics College of Medicine-Philippine General Hospital, says the vaccination is "not an issue of choice as much as an issue of access."

She remarks: "Because much as we are used to the concept that we want to have options, particularly for drugs and vaccines, we are really in the situation where getting any vaccine is more important than choosing which vaccine to get…"
