00:00Our target is to make sure that KLIA becomes a regional hub.
00:04Of course, there are a lot of potentials for us to continue to grow.
00:08But the whole idea of KLIA, to be honest, is to make KLIA as a hub for ASEAN region.
00:16Because as I mentioned, why we are aiming to be a hub for ASEAN region?
00:22Because we have all the necessary factors which can help us to continue to grow.
00:29Firstly, this is a huge airport, 10km by 10km.
00:36KLIA is not just about the passenger terminal.
00:39The cargo is a very important component of KLIA.
00:42And we have seen over the last few years, major developments have taken place in this part of KLIA.
00:49A lot of new cargo complex, warehousing, including this particular complex, Chai Niao.
00:57This is a new development, and I'm sure there are more developments coming in.
01:02There are more requests from some cargo lenders, including some multinational companies
01:08which have already spoken to the government.
01:10They requested the government to facilitate in terms of providing the space for them to invest and to grow.
01:17So I think that the space is, of course, available.
01:22And the factor which I said that why KLIA has all the potential to become a central hub for ASEAN
01:29is because our network is huge, is big.
01:33So this is an advantage that probably not many have really put the attention to.
01:39In terms of our connectivity within ASEAN, KLIA is one of the best in ASEAN region.
01:49Because through our airlines, particularly our local airlines, we fly to many secondary cities in ASEAN.
01:57Especially to Indonesia, to Thailand, to Cambodia.
02:01So directly from KLIA.
02:03So if, for example, you have cargo coming in in bulk in KLIA,
02:10then you can break it into smaller boxes, smaller buses,
02:15to be transported and to be fed to some of the secondary cities through Benikago, through passenger airlines.
02:22So this is where I say that KLIA has all the potential.
02:26Because of our strong network in KLIA, which we must fully utilise.
02:30And I'm sure all the airlines are looking at this as well.
02:35Any specific target to rebuy?
02:38No, we cannot say what the timeline is.
02:41We are already there, actually. We are already serving.
02:43It's not that we are not serving.
02:45But I say that we can continue to grow as an important hub, and to get more investment.
02:50I mean, KLIA right now is already serving many, many networks throughout ASEAN.
02:55And cargo are flowing already.
02:57Not to say that we are not doing it.
02:59We are already doing it right now.
03:02So in fact, you can see that KLIA cargo is quite busy right now in this part of the airport.
03:10But what I'm trying to say is that we can grow into something bigger.
03:14We can continue to look at, in terms of increasing the tonnage, increasing the movement, increasing the flights,
03:21and make more cargo liners to make KLIA as their hub.
