00:00I'm here at Emu Park near Rockhampton in central Queensland, where state LNP leader David Christopher
00:08Foley has made a $50 million investment in Step Up, Step Down mental health treatment
00:14facilities for young people.
00:16So what is a Step Up, Step Down facility?
00:18Well, it's for people at the start and end of their mental health journeys, so they can
00:22step up into a clinic to receive treatment, or if they received acute care in a hospital,
00:27they can step down as a transition.
00:30There'll be one facility here in Rockhampton, with the second to be announced, and they'll
00:34each have six beds.
00:35Now we're here in the electorate of Keppel, which is held by Labor MP Brittany Lauger.
00:41It's a marginal regional seat, and one of the regional seats the LNP will be looking
00:45to take if it wants to oust Labor.
