00:00Still in trouble in Lebanon due to the exchange of attacks by Israel and the Hezbollah group.

00:05We are joined by the Department of Migrant Workers, DMW, Undersecretary Bernard Olalya.

00:17How are our countrymen in Lebanon?

00:21Have all of them been contacted and able to return to the Philippines?

00:27We were able to zoom in yesterday on our labor attache in Lebanon.

00:32We were with Secretary Hansa Zoom and he reported that no one was hurt in Lebanon.

00:40Our fellow Filipinos there, the workers, were evacuated and are now in a safe shelter.

00:50There is no forced repatriation, Usec?

00:54We are still doing voluntary repatriation because of Alert Level 3 in Lebanon.

00:59We have four shelters there and we are expecting to have more in the next few days.

01:05Those who want to go home will return, that's why we are waiting and preparing.

01:11How many Filipinos are expected to return to the Philippines?

01:15111 are ready to return and there are more than 115 that we are arranging,

01:24their so-called exit permit for immigration to Lebanon.

01:28If that is arranged, we can evacuate more than 200 from your country.

01:34Iran also attacked Israel.

01:39Do we have any adjustments to our OFWs in Iran and Israel, Usec?

01:47In Israel, we are also doing the same.

01:50We were able to zoom in and monitor.

01:52We also talked to the labor attache in Israel yesterday and he reported that they are also monitoring there.

02:00They are coordinating with the associations of our Filipino leaders and they are reporting that they are safe.

02:08What assistance is the DMW expecting from the affected?

02:12If they return to our country and we are able to evacuate them, they will receive financial assistance.

02:21That's P150,000 from the DMW and OAH,

02:26aside from the assistance provided by various agencies such as DOH, TESTA and other assistance from our government.
