00:06And earlier this morning, the big-time oil price hike was carried out.

00:11In different gas stations here in Metro Manila, the increase of diesel is 2.70 pesos per liter,

00:182.65 pesos per liter of gasoline, and 2.60 pesos per liter of kerosene.

00:25And later at 9 p.m., there will be a protest movement.

00:39Alright, first of all, what will be the effect of this big-time oil price hike

00:45on the shoppers and operators, and on your protest movement later?

00:50What is our message to the government?

00:52The increase of 2.70 pesos per liter is a big impact

00:57because if we look at it, our drivers and operators lost almost P81 per day.

01:04This should be used for the needs of their families.

01:08If we look at it, within 25 days, almost P2,000 was lost

01:15because of the effect of the increase of the price of oil.

01:18That's why we are condemning this new increase of the price of oil

01:24because this will lead to the economic collapse of our drivers.

01:29And of course, we know that if the price of oil moves in the international market,

01:34here in our country, the effect of this will be the increase of the primary services.

01:39The oil industry is deregulated.

01:41Will the government do anything about this?

01:43The administration will do a lot.

01:46First, we will throw away the trash.

01:49We will remove the trash from the streets

01:55so that the government can control the movement of the price of oil.
