00:00Good afternoon. Let's first update on our monitor, Baguiong Julian.
00:06This is Julian. He is still in the Super Typhoon category.
00:10And earlier at 4 p.m., he was at a distance of 245 km from Itbayat, Batanes.

00:41We can see him inside our PAR.
00:45After 48 hours, he was at a distance of 405 km from Hilaga, Itbayat, Batanes.
00:53And after 72 hours, he was at a distance of 680 km north-northeast of Itbayat, Batanes.
01:01We can see him outside our Philippine Area of Responsibility.
01:07What are we expecting from Baguiong Julian or Super Typhoon Julian?
01:12We expect him to recurve to the south-west of Taiwan until tomorrow morning.
01:22We can also expect him to intensify in the next 12 hours.
01:30But we can also see that before he lands here in the Taiwan area, it is possible for him to weaken.
01:39And then, it is possible for him to leave our Philippine Area of Responsibility Thursday evening or Friday early morning.
01:48And then, because of the weak steering, it is possible for him to change the forecast track.
01:54Because of Julian, the Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 is still high in Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union,
02:03northern and western portion of Pangasinan, Apayao, Abra, Calinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Benguet, Batanes,
02:17Cagayan, Ambabuyan Island, northern and western portion of Isabela, and northwestern portion of Nueva Vizcaya.
02:26So, we expect a minimal to minor threat to life and property if the Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 is high.
02:33We also expect strong winds today in Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region,
02:42northern and eastern portion of Mainland Cagayan, eastern portion of Isabela, and Zambales.

03:12So, we expect moderate to heavy rains 50-100 mm in Batanes, Babuyan Islands, and Ilocos Norte.
03:23We expect high rains in the mountainous and high elevation areas.
03:30So, our countrymen who live in landslide-prone and flood-prone areas,
03:35be careful of floods or landslides.
03:41We also have a high-level gale warning in Batanes, Babuyan Islands, and the northern coast of Ilocos Norte.
