00:00Good afternoon to all of us, this is an update on the current time.
00:05At 4 p.m. this afternoon, the area of responsibility that we are monitoring for Marseille's typhoon
00:12is now 290 kilometers away from the city of Ilocos Norte.
00:19It was said that Marseille's typhoon still had strong winds,
00:23reaching up to 140 kilometers per hour in the middle,
00:26and when it hit, it reached up to 170 kilometers per hour.
00:30And it moved west-south-westward at a speed of 20 kilometers per hour.
00:35And because the circulation of this typhoon, Marseille, is small,
00:39it has no direct effect on any part of our country.
00:43That's why we don't have any tropical cyclone wind signals in any part of our region.
00:50But this afternoon and later tonight, we still expect thunderstorms here in the Ilocos region.
00:57But here in Metro Manila, as well as in other parts of our country, there is no direct effect.
01:03This is what we are monitoring for Marseille's typhoon.
01:05That's why it's partly cloudy, and only partly cloudy in Calangtan.
01:08And if we experience any rains, it's only temporary.
01:13This afternoon and later tonight.
01:16Meanwhile, let's update on the low-pressure area that we were able to observe
01:22at 1,705 kilometers east of Southeastern Luzon.
01:27The LPA said that the chance of a typhoon within 24 hours is low.
01:33But based on our latest TC threat potential, this is valid for one week.
01:39This is the main number one here.
01:41This means that there is a high chance of a typhoon within the next five days.
01:48That's why we will continue to monitor this low-pressure area
01:52where we expect it to enter our area of responsibility tonight or tomorrow morning.
01:59And this has no direct effect on any part of our country.
02:03But even if it's a LPA or a typhoon, it will cause widespread rains,
02:10especially in the Cagayan and Isabela areas.
02:13Even in the Quezon, Aurora, and Bicol regions,
02:17it's possible to experience rains because of this LPA
02:21that it's possible for there to be a typhoon within the next five days.
02:24That's why we will continue to monitor the updates that come out of Pag-Asa.
02:30As for our forecast for tomorrow,
02:32we don't expect any heavy rains in any part of Luzon.
02:36That's why our weather will be clear,
02:38especially in the northern Luzon area where we experienced rains in the past few days.
02:43Tomorrow, their weather will also be clear,
02:47especially in the morning until their afternoon.
02:49But when it comes to the afternoon and night,
02:51we still have a chance of experiencing heavy rains due to the localized thunderstorm.
02:57Our temperature tomorrow here in Metro Manila is 25 to 32 degrees.
03:01Tagaytay is 23 to 30 degrees Celsius.
03:05In Baguio City, it's 17 to 23 degrees.
03:08Lawaug is 24 to 31 degrees.
03:11In Taguigarau and Legazpi City, the maximum temperature will reach 32 degrees.
03:18In Puerto Princesa and Calayaan Islands,
03:21the temperature is 25 to 32 degrees.
03:25In Bisayas and Mindanao,
03:28we also don't expect heavy rains tomorrow.
03:32That's why their weather will be clear,
03:36especially in the morning until their afternoon.
03:38In the afternoon and night, their weather will be gloomy
03:40and there's a high chance of heavy rains due to the localized thunderstorm.
03:45That's why when we go outside,
03:47don't forget to bring an umbrella.
03:49This is also a warning for the hot weather in the afternoon
03:52and for heavy rains in the afternoon and night.
03:55Our temperature tomorrow in Iloilo
03:58and Tacloban is 26 to 32 degrees Celsius.
04:01In Metro Cebu, it's 25 to 32 degrees Celsius.
04:05Tomorrow, the highest temperature will reach 32 degrees in Cagayan de Oro,
04:0933 degrees in Zamboanga and Metro Davao.
04:15For our fellow Filipinos,
04:17we still have a gale warning in the western coast of Ilocos Norte and Ilocos Sur.
04:23But we expect that by tomorrow,
04:26the gale warning will be lifted.
04:29We are just being careful of small sea vehicles
04:32that will pass through the western coast of Ilocos region
04:36because the moderate to rough sea condition is still possible by tomorrow.
04:41And now, especially in the eastern coast of our country,
04:45in the Cagayan area,
04:46we don't have a gale warning anymore.
04:49Generally, the gales will be moderate.
04:54For our 3-day weather forecast for the major cities in our country,
04:59particularly here in Metro Manila and Baguio City,
05:02where until Tuesday,
05:04we don't see any severe rains
05:06and we also don't see any possible effects of LPA
05:11or possible gales here in Metro Manila and Baguio City.
05:15That's why the forecast for the next 3 days will continue.
05:18There will be rains but only isolated cases in the afternoons and evenings.
05:23If we see here in the Legazpi City area,
05:26by Sunday and Monday,
05:27our sky will be cloudy
05:29and there is a high chance of scattered rains,
05:32thunders and lightning.
05:33But when Tuesday comes,
05:35we expect an improving weather condition in the Legazpi City area.
05:40Our temperature for the next 3 days here in Metro Manila is 24°C to 32°C,
05:45in Baguio City, it's 16°C to 24°C
05:48and in Legazpi City, it's 24°C to 32°C.
05:54Let's now go to the major cities in Cabizayaan, Metro Cebu, Iloilo City
05:59and Tacloban City,
06:00where until Tuesday,
06:02we expect a generally fair weather condition.

06:14Iloilo City, 25°C to 33°C
06:17and Tacloban City, 25°C to 32°C.
06:22For our countrymen in Mindanao,
06:24where we don't have a typhoon or bad weather that could affect us,
06:27that's why for the next 3 days,
06:29we expect a generally fair weather condition in Metro Davao,
06:32Cagayan de Oro City and Zamboanga City.
06:35We also expect rains but only in the afternoons and evenings
06:40due to localized thunderstorms.
06:42We can monitor the thunderstorm advisories
06:45issued by our PRSDs,
