00:00Good afternoon to all of us. This is an update on the weather forecast.
00:04Last night, we were able to monitor the tropical storm with an international name, Bebinka,
00:09at an altitude of 1,435 kilometers in the north-east of the extreme northern zone.
00:15It has a strong wind that reaches up to 85 kilometers per hour in the middle,
00:20and a storm that reaches up to 105 kilometers per hour.
00:24It moves north-westward at a speed of 35 kilometers per hour.
00:29And if we can see in our satellite imagery, it is also in the north-eastern boundary of our PAR,
00:35and we expect that our Area of Responsibility will enter tonight,
00:40and we will call it storm C4D.
00:43And if we can see here, it will only pass through our park,
00:47so tomorrow morning or early in the morning, we expect that it will also leave our Area of Responsibility.
00:55Although it is far away and it does not have a direct effect on our Philippine landmass,
01:00it will continue to enhance the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat,
01:05which will cause heavy rains tonight in parts of Mimaropa, Western Visayas,
01:13Negros Island Region, and in the western section of Mindanao.
01:16That is why we are warning our countrymen against flooding and landslides.
01:22Here in Metro Manila, as well as in other parts of our country,
01:26we expect that our skies will be cloudy tonight,
01:30and there is a high chance of heavy rains, landslides, and landslides
01:35due to the trough or the extension of the storm,
01:38the so-called tropical storm Bebinca, as well as Habagat.
01:42So be careful, especially those who are going home to their homes this afternoon until later tonight.
01:49For tomorrow, because of Habagat,
01:53parts of Mimaropa, Albay, Sorsogon, and even Masbate
01:58will continue to experience heavy rains due to Habagat.
02:03So be careful, our countrymen,
02:05because of the rains that we expect will lead to floods and landslides.
02:12Here in Metro Manila, in Calabar Zone, the rest of Bicol Region,
02:16tomorrow, our skies will be cloudy as well,
02:19and there will be landslides, landslides, and landslides,
02:23if there are heavy rains.
02:26Meanwhile, in Cagayan Valley, as well as Zambales, Bataan Area,
02:31the extension or trough of the so-called tropical storm Bebinca,
02:35or Ferdie,
02:36the possibility of light to moderate to the times heavy rains,
02:40that is tomorrow,
02:41so be careful, our countrymen.
02:44But in Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region,
02:47and also in the extreme northern Luzon,
02:49the expected tomorrow will be clear,
02:52aside from the chances of thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.
02:56Our temperature tomorrow in Metro Manila,
02:5826 to 30 degrees Celsius,
03:00in Baguio City, 17 to 21 degrees,
03:03inside, there is still a temperature of 32 degrees in the afternoon.
03:08Meanwhile, in Taguigarao, because of the rains tomorrow,
03:10only 26 to 31 degrees is the expected temperature.
03:14In Legazpi, 25 to 29 degrees Celsius,
03:18and in Tagaytay, 24 to 31 degrees Celsius.
03:23In Puerto Princesa and in Calayaan Island,
03:26the expected temperature is 25 to 30 degrees Celsius.
03:31Our countrymen,
03:33particularly here in Western Visayas,
03:36Negros Island Region,
03:38will still experience monsoon rains tomorrow.
03:42This is the continuous downpour of rains
03:44due to the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat.
03:47So be careful, our countrymen,
03:49because of the expected rains,
03:51it is possible for floods and landslides to occur.
03:55It is also the same here in Central and Eastern Visayas,
03:59and in the whole region of Mindanao,
04:01where it is expected to be cloudy skies tomorrow,
04:05and there will be heavy rains, landslides, and landslides.
04:09To our countrymen,
04:10we can visit our social media accounts,
04:13especially our regional services divisions
04:16that issue heavy rainfall warnings,
04:19as well as rainfall advisories and thunderstorm advisories
04:23to be updated if there is a strong downpour of rains
04:27in the coming days or in the coming hours.
04:31We will continue to be safe
04:34and we will consult our local governments
04:37to meet our needs
04:40now that we are expecting a strong downpour of rains.
04:45Our temperatures tomorrow in Iloilo, Cebu, and Tacloban
04:49are 25 to 31 degrees Celsius.
04:51In Cagayan de Oro, 25 to 30 degrees Celsius.
04:55Meanwhile, in Metro Davao, 25 to 32 degrees,
04:58and in Zamboanga, 25 to 31 degrees Celsius.
05:03Let us now discuss the condition of our coastal areas.
05:06Although we do not have a gale warning
05:08for any coastal areas,
05:10we are warning our countrymen
05:13who will sail in the Eastern Seaboards of Visayas and Mindanao,
05:17as well as here in the Western Seaboards of Southern Luzon
05:20or here in the Palawan-Mindoro area,
05:23and in our inland areas,
05:24because we are expecting a moderate to rough sea condition
05:28and possibly a wave height of 3.7 meters.
05:32And as far as possible,
05:34our countrymen who are sailing in small boats
05:37or those who own small boats,
05:39we do not advise them to sail
05:44because such waves are very dangerous
05:47for their safety.
05:50And as far as elsewhere,
05:52the moderate or slight to moderate sea condition is possible.
05:57And here is our latest TC threat potential.
06:01And if we can see here,
06:03outside our far, the one with TC,
06:06this is what we are watching now,
06:08that a typhoon will come or that it will be severe.
06:10But we also have, by next week,
06:12another circulation that we can see
06:14that could possibly form here in the eastern part of our country.
06:18And if we can see in our truck,
06:20it will be far or the truck will be higher.
06:23So this is not landfalling or possibly this is not landfalling.
06:27But once this is a typhoon,
06:29we expect that it will hit the coast again
06:33where by next week,
06:35the rains that we experienced will continue,
06:38especially in Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
06:41That is why we will continue to monitor the updates
06:44that are coming out of the forecast.
06:47And this is what we expect,
06:49that there will be heavy rains
06:51or even the areas that we expect
06:54that will experience heavy rains
06:57will bring typhoons for the next three days.
07:00So today until tomorrow afternoon,
07:03this part of Mimaropa,
07:05Western Visayas, Sorsogon, and Negros Occidental
07:08will experience heavy to intense rains
07:13that will bring typhoons.
07:16Meanwhile, moderate to heavy rains
07:18this evening until tomorrow
07:19in Zambales, Bataan, Metro Manila, Calabarzon,
07:23the rest of Bicol Region, the rest of Visayas,
07:26Misamis Occidental, Zamboanga del Norte,
07:29Lanao del Norte, Lanao del Sur, Maguindanao,
07:33Sultan Kudarat, and Sarangani.
07:35Meanwhile, tomorrow afternoon until Sunday afternoon,
07:39heavy to intense rains,
07:41100 to 200 mm of rainfall
07:44that we expect in Mimaropa,
07:47Aklan, Antique, and Negros Occidental.
07:50Moderate to heavy rains in Bicol Region,
07:53the rest of Negros Island Region,
07:55and the rest of Western Visayas.
07:57When it comes to Sunday afternoon until Monday afternoon,
08:01the part of Occidental Mindoro,
08:03northern portion of Palawan, Aklan, and Antique
08:06will continue to experience heavy to intense rains.
08:10And we also expect moderate to heavy rains
08:12in the southern portion of Quezon,
08:14the rest of Mimaropa, Camarines Sur,
08:17Catanduanes, Albay, Sorsogon, Masbate,
08:20Negros Occidental, and in the southern part of Western Visayas.
08:24In the areas that I mentioned,
08:26our countrymen are being careful and prepared
08:30because there is a possibility that
08:32the next day when it rains,
08:36it may cause floods and landslides.
08:41That's why our countrymen are being careful and prepared.
08:47Our day here in Caminilaan will end at 5.59pm
