00:00Good afternoon. Let's update on the current situation this Sunday, October 6, 2024.
00:10Currently, there are two low-pressure areas that we are monitoring.
00:15The first one is located inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
00:20It was completed at 8 a.m.
00:22And as of 3 p.m. today, it is located 100 kilometers west-northwest of Coron, Palawan.
00:30This low-pressure area is embedded in the Intertropical Convergence Zone or ITCZ
00:38which is affected by Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
00:42And because of the Intertropical Convergence Zone,
00:44we expect to see heavy rains and flooding in Metro Manila, Calabarzon, Bicol Region, Mimaropa, and Visayas.
00:57That's why our countrymen who were flooded in the past few days,
01:01we are taking care of the flood or landslides.
01:05For the time being, in most parts of our country,
01:08we are in a cloudy-to-cloudy situation where there are chances of localized thunderstorms.
01:14Our Regional Services Division will issue thunderstorm advisory, rainfall advisory,
01:20or heavy rainfall warning if necessary.
01:23The second low-pressure area that we are monitoring,
01:27located outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility,
01:31was formed at 2 p.m. and is located at a distance of 2,525 kilometers east of the extreme northern Luzon.
01:41This low-pressure area does not exclude the possibility of a flood.
01:48That's why we will continue to provide updates based on our expectations.
01:51Another low-pressure area inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility,
01:55this area has a low chance of a flood in the next 24 hours.
02:02For the time being, we expect that in Bicol Region, it will be rainy.
02:10And in Metro Manila, and in most parts of our country,
02:14we are in a partly cloudy-to-cloudy sky condition,
02:17and there are chances of rainfall, landslides, and landslides.
02:20For the water temperature, tomorrow in Metro Manila,
02:23it will be 25 to 31 degrees Celsius,
02:2617 to 23 degrees Celsius in Baguio,
02:2925 to 31 degrees Celsius in Lawag,

03:03The water temperature in Zamboanga and Iloilo will range from 25 to 33 degrees Celsius,
03:09and in Cebu, Caguyendeoro and Tacloban will range from 25 to 32 degrees Celsius.
03:16In Davao, it will be 24 to 33 degrees Celsius.
03:22We still do not have a high gale warning for any country in our country.
03:27For the three-day weather outlook of our major cities,
03:31we expect that in the next three days, Metro Manila, Baguio and Legazpi City
03:35will continue to have fair weather conditions with chances of localized thunderstorms.
03:40The highest temperature in Metro Manila is 32 degrees Celsius,
03:4417 to 23 degrees Celsius in Baguio,
03:48and 25 to 33 degrees Celsius in Legazpi.
03:52In Metro Cebu, Iloilo City, and Tacloban City,
03:56as well as in a large part of Visayas Area,
