00:00More than 70,000 people have been affected by the super typhoon Hulian in the country.
00:06The government assured that it will continue to distribute aid to those affected by the typhoon.
00:12Ryan Lasig is at the center of the live news.
00:18Nayumin, the government is now doing a whole of government approach
00:22to make sure that all those affected by the typhoon Hulian will be given aid from the government.
00:30The number of families affected by the typhoon Hulian in the country continues to increase.
00:37According to the latest data of NDRRMC, more than 22,000 families have been affected.
00:44This is equivalent to more than 77,000 individuals from more than 200 barangays in Region 1, 2, and CAR.
00:52The government continues to distribute aid to the affected areas.
00:56In fact, humanitarian assistance is now reaching almost a million pesos.
01:02According to the DSWD, they are now in contact with the affected families in Region 2,
01:08particularly in Batanes.
01:12Once the weather improves, we will send these food packs to the affected areas.
01:21Just like in Calaya, we are waiting for a go signal to send this aid.
01:30The coordination of the DSWD with the Office of Civil Defense is ongoing
01:36so that we can access the assets of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, air and naval assets.

02:28Health care centers were also alerted.
02:31The typhoon continues to monitor the effects of the typhoon
02:34on the livelihoods of our farmers and fishermen.
02:38The typhoon has particularly affected the provinces in the northern part of Luzon.
02:45Let us all be careful.
02:47We will continue to monitor the typhoon Hulian
02:52and the government is ready to provide the aid to our needy people.
02:59Aside from the food items and non-food items that were first distributed by the DSWD,
03:07they can also provide financial assistance to the affected families of the typhoon Hulian
03:14through the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation, or AICS.
03:19Aside from that, the DSWD can also provide shelter assistance to those who lost their homes.
