00:00And here is our lead athlete here. It's a sensational time. 16-14 and our leader, Billy Sutherland of Ross County.
00:11Congratulations on that. What about the time? How does that compare to what you've done before?
00:15I passed them before I was 17, so I can't believe it. I'm very happy with that.
00:21Have you done this before?
00:22No, I've never done this course before.
00:24So beforehand, do you have any thoughts about possibly winning it?
00:30No, I just thought, well I'll just hold on to somebody else.
00:34I can't believe that. I'm really happy with that.
00:38So what age are you?
00:39I'm 17.
00:40What school are you at?
00:42I go to Wack High School in Caithness.
00:44Oh right.
00:45Yeah, quite far away from here.
00:47You come down last night?
00:49Yeah, I came down last night.
00:52So is this a kind of target event for you?
00:54Yeah, it's that one I've always wanted to do. I heard about it, so I thought I'd sign up for it.
01:00So how was your win today compared with anything else you've done?
01:04The pace felt good.
01:06Yeah, it went really well. The pace felt good. It felt co-operative too. It was just perfect today.
01:13So what's your ambition for next week?
01:16Well, now I've done that, hopefully I'll be 16 and just keep going.
01:20Keep trying to improve your 5k's.
01:22Yeah, exactly.
01:24Any particular races?
01:26Not really, no. Just see what comes up and maybe Edinburgh next year and then Rennes next year.
01:32Yeah, just keep doing that.
01:34Okay, cool. Well done. Thank you.
01:36Thank you very much.
