00:00Another response, China does not accept or recognize the so-called South China Sea Arbitration.
00:13This is precisely for the preservation of the rule of law of the Caribbean country led
00:20by President Nicolás Maduro-Moros.
00:31We are all aware of what is currently at stake in Venezuela.
00:36It is the right of Venezuelans to defend a revolutionary and truly independent process
00:43against the attacks of imperialism.
00:47Long live the Bolivarian and Chavista revolution!
00:51Long live Venezuela!
00:55Long live Venezuela!
01:00It is well known that during the past 25 years, imperialism has not ceased in its ambition
01:08to recover the domination over that cistern nation and its immense natural wealth.
01:16It seems amazing that sometimes such a crystal clear and transparent truth is not fully understood.
01:26But imperialism doesn't stop there.
01:30Today it is acting against Honduras by grossly interfering in the internal affairs of that cistern nation
01:39and the government led by Xiomara Castro.
01:49Long live the Honduran people!
01:52Long live the Honduran people!
01:56Long live the homeland of Francisco Morazán!
02:03Our solidarity greetings from our people to our comrades from Nicaragua.
02:10The heroic people of Sandino and the National Unity and Reconciliation Government
02:18continue to write its history without foreign interference and interventions.
02:26Could we forget that just 15 years ago the United States orchestrated a coup d'etat in that country?
02:36Are we to be surprised that there are attempts to do it again?
02:43What do you think we can do?
02:47How can we react?
02:49Should we just react?
02:52What can we do for ourselves in a proactive way?
02:57Should we take the initiative?
03:00Can we do it?
03:02Of course we can do it.
03:04And we are going to do it all together.
03:15Imperialism has not ceased to attack Cuba.
03:20As our friends and many in this country understand quite well,
03:26the United States government is implementing the economic, commercial and financial blockade against Cuba
03:35with unparalleled strength and effectiveness.
03:39The impact is destructive.
03:42Allow me to share some facts and you could obtain them from this quote.
03:52The impact of just 25 days, only 25 days of the cost that the blockade imposes on the Cuban economy
04:05is equivalent to the total price of all the medicine and drugs that our public health system requires
04:16to meet the basic needs of the population for one year.
04:24The impact of just 21 hours of the blockade is equivalent to the cost of acquiring all the insulin
04:37needed in one year for all patients suffering diabetes.
04:45Seven months of the blockade are equivalent to the resources needed to purchase
04:52all the buses required for the public transportation system.
05:00Nine months of the blockade are equivalent to the financial resources needed
05:07to meet the demand of home construction in the country.
05:12The cost of four months of blockade is equivalent to the financing necessary
05:19to guarantee the family food basket delivered to the population during an entire year
05:27amounting to approximately 1.6 billion dollars.
05:33The cost of 18 days of blockade is equivalent to the amount of money necessary
05:42to ensure maintenance of the national power generation system for one year
05:49which would avoid the continued blackouts that cause so much stress, emotional damage and anguish
05:58and affect the cooling system, food cooking and water supply to Cuban households.
06:06How could anyone claim that such merciless economic aggravation is not a criminal act?
06:15How can the U.S. government morally justify such persistent onslaught against the well-being of our entire population?
06:27The unjustified and illegitimate inclusion of Cuba in a unilateral and arbitrary list
06:36issued by the U.S. State Department which designates Cuba as a state sponsor of terrorism
06:45automatically triggers a host of additional coercive measures that add up to the already existing blockade.
06:54Those measures have a very harmful impact on Cuba's economic relations and interests anywhere on this planet
07:05outside, beyond the U.S. jurisdiction and regardless of the political position of any country regarding Cuba.
07:17Let Cuba live! Let Cuba live in peace!
07:30The U.S. government and its intelligence agencies know only too well that Cuba does not practice
07:44support or sponsor terrorism.
07:49Imperialism keeps dreaming about the end of the Cuban Revolution.
07:55They dream several times in history it has made the mistake of assuming that the end
08:03of the Cuban Revolution is near.
08:07Life has shown that this is a terrible, misguided and recurring error that has confirmed the
08:17unyielding determination of the Cuban people to defend the revolution and socialism.
08:24Viva Cuba! Viva Cuba Libre! Viva Cuba Socialista!
08:37Stop the aggression now! Stop the aggression now!
08:43Long live the Cuban Revolution!
08:59Cuba sĂ, bloqueo no! Cuba sĂ, bloqueo no! Cuba sĂ, bloqueo no!
09:13Cuba sĂ, bloqueo no! Cuba sĂ, bloqueo no!
09:20Mr. President Biden, respectfully, drop the bloqueo.
09:26Drop the bloqueo.
09:28Tumba el bloqueo, como se dice en Cuba.
09:32Tumba ya el bloqueo.
09:35Tumba ya el bloqueo.
09:43Tumba ya el bloqueo.
09:51Billay, do you like the Cuban boxing?
09:58Do you like the Cuban boxing?
10:03Do you remember the great friendship between Mohammed Ali
10:09and the multi-Olympic and world champion Teofilo Stevenson?
10:19We have to knock out the blockade.
10:22Knock out the blockade.
10:24Noquea el bloqueo.
10:28Despite all difficulties and limitations,
10:32Cuba has today more than 24,000 medical doctors,
10:38professionals and technicians in 56 countries.
10:50They are offering their services as they usually do
10:54in the poorest communities and to those in greater need.
10:59We also have teachers, engineers and professionals
11:03from different fields in many of these countries.
11:08I only mention that because it's not hard to imagine
11:16how much we could do it, we Cubans,
11:22do if we were not under a blockade.
11:28How much more could be done if we,
11:36the peoples of the South, the global South,
11:40close ranks and clench our fists to deal a demolition blow
11:48to all kinds of oppressors and sanctions
11:51to bring the peace and well-being to our peoples' need and deserve.
11:57The capacity to practice such solidarity
12:01is a result of the Cuban Revolution.
12:05Without considering the revolution,
12:08it is impossible to conceive the extraordinary
12:13but humble impact that Cuba has had
12:17on the well-being of so many people in so many countries.
12:22We feel that as fraternal duty, a humble fraternal duty.
12:30We are fortunate to count with the support
12:34of international solidarity in the widest dimension.
12:39We also count on the position of the international community
12:44and the United Nations almost unanimously
12:48in the call for an end to the economic blockade and U.S. hostility.
12:56Be ready for the next October the 30th,
13:01new consideration and new voting against the blockade.
13:08We enjoy, of course, the solidarity and understanding
13:13here in the U.S. of many organizations, groups and individuals.
13:20Among them, there is a growing number of Cubans who live here
13:26as well as their children and grandchildren.
13:31The challenges that we face are huge, no doubt on that.
13:36I mean for Cubans and for all those who struggle for a better world.
13:44But should we accept the idea that our option is to surrender?
13:52Have we the right to assume that remaining passive and impotent
14:00could be the answer to such challenges?
14:06For us, as revolutionaries, going backwards is inadmissible.
14:13Marching forward is the only way to go in our quest for a just,
14:21peaceful and inclusive world and society.
14:26Marching forward, abandoning the cause for independence, justice, equity
14:36and the aspiration to put an end to colonialism, neocolonialism
14:42and their sequels is for us inconceivable, inconceivable.
14:50Unity, solidarity, loyalty and commitment to our peoples are our strengths.
15:03We cannot neglect them.
15:07Are we to allow others to divide us?
15:12Are we to be seduced by those who oppress us?
15:18Are we going to allow them to mislead us?
15:24Are we to lose the essence of our cause or the essence of the threats?
15:32If we allow our adversaries to divide us, if we give in,
15:40if they succeed in misleading us,
15:45if we miss the essence of our cause, imperialism will have the capacity
15:51to defeat us and, consequently, to defeat our peoples.
15:57Let us forever be confident that a better world is possible.
16:04The better world is possible.
16:07A better world is possible.
16:12But, but, to achieve it we need to struggle and it is only worth doing so.
16:22Long live solidarity among peoples.
16:26Long live solidarity among peoples.
16:31Ever onwards to victory.
16:34Ever onwards to victory.
16:37We shall overcome.
16:40Patria o muerte, venceremos.
