00:00You've been here a long time, Jordan. Is motivation there every season? Is it ever difficult to find it or do you never want to get comfy, do you?
00:07No, yeah, I think, especially for myself being here for so long, I think, because I know I'm getting older and older, I want to be looking to actually achieve something here.
00:18You know, the older you get, you want to be able to look back on that season where you went on to achieve something good.
00:27So, I think, if anything, the older I'm getting, the more hungry I'm getting, because I want to achieve something here before I eventually end up leaving.
00:35You've never been down, have you? It's just been, I think I sort of start seven to 14 for the last eight years.
00:40So, that's not to be frowned upon, but you'd just like to know that one step, even just to get a taste of the playoffs.
00:45That's what I mean. I think, you know, obviously the fans want us to get promoted, which is fair enough.
00:49I think it still is a good achievement from where we've been getting on the budget we've got.
00:54But obviously, I think it is frustrating, especially for the fans.
00:58Sometimes when you see the likes of Luton go on and get promoted, and to be honest with you, the quality we've got in here, there is absolutely no reason why we can't do that as well.
01:08So, like I said, you know, I don't want to leave here with any regrets.
01:13I don't want to leave here with not having achieved anything.
01:16So, like I said, hopefully the time will come.
01:20Is the new manager just motivation anyway?
01:22You know, you've got a guy who's done it and has been promoted.
01:24Yes, I think that's the added bonus of having him here, is obviously he's managed to achieve promotion with Sheffield, obviously in slightly different circumstances.
01:32But he's got that know-how and he's got that knowledge of how to do it.
01:37And like I said, obviously, if you look at the last two seasons, we've come up short on the last five games.
01:42So, hopefully, with that added success he's had, hopefully that will get us across the line.
01:49Have the new lads all settled in now pretty well?
01:52Some have played more than others.
01:54Yes, I think all the new lads have started to settle in now.
01:57I think it's good for some of the far-arm boys, especially Steffi and Jeppe, to have other Danish speakers.
02:06It's obviously been really good for them to come across.
02:09And obviously, I think some of the other new lads knew each other from previous games and that, so they've all slotted in really well.
02:16And yes, I think this season we've got a really solid group.
02:19Quite cool customers, aren't they, the Danish lads?
02:21They are, yes.
02:22I mean, obviously, you see Mads with his very unique style.
02:28But yes, they're all really chilled lads, really nice, polite, and they're all hard-working.
02:34And I think that helps build a solid foundation throughout the team.
02:41Like I said, we've got a good set of lads and there's no idiots in the changing room, which always helps as well.
02:46So hopefully it leads to a successful year.
02:50You've mentioned leaving Preston one day.
02:52Do you hope that's not in the summer?
02:53Would you like to earn a new deal?
02:56Yes, obviously, I've enjoyed my time up here.
03:00I can't quite believe how quick it's gone, to be honest with you.
03:04But yes, like I said, I want to achieve something here, you know.
03:07Preston took the faith in me as a young lad and I'd like to think that I've started to repay it over the last few years.
03:16So yes, it would be nice to sort of stay here and achieve something with them.
03:23But obviously, you know, it's football, anything can happen, so if it's not meant to be, it's not meant to be.
03:29But hopefully it will be.
