00:00They just moments ago announced the pairings for the four ball tomorrow, the opening event.
00:11Jason Day and Ben on against Xander Shafley and Tony Finau in the first match, Adam Scott
00:16and Minwoo Lee against Colin Morikawa and Zaheef Degala in the second match, Sun Jae
00:21Im and Tom Kim against Scotty Scheffler and Russell Henley in the third match, Taylor
00:26Pendreth and Christian Beziden out against Wyndham Clark and Keegan Bradley.
00:31And the last match of the day, Cam, will be Matsuyama and Corey Connors against Patrick
00:37Cantlay and Sam Burns.
00:39So just off the surface, Cam, before we give the picks for tomorrow's matchups, two things
00:43stick out for me.
00:44Number one, usually the X-Men and Cantlay are together on the U.S. side a lot, and they
00:49are not going to be, at least for tomorrow's festivities.
00:53And the other thing is, Cam, they didn't put any of the Canadians together.
00:57So you have Connors with Matsuyama, you have Pendreth with Beziden out, and Matt Hughes
01:02didn't get in the lineup the first day.
01:04I love that too, Carver.
01:05I don't want them together.
01:06And also, I like that Weir didn't put them out early.
01:08They're going to be very nervous and you can't go down early.
01:11That's the whole thing.
01:12I think Captain Weir did a great job, Furyk.
01:14Also breaking up good friends, Scotty Scheffler and Mr. Burns in that.
01:19So two of the regular American teams.
01:21That's another one.
01:23But Scheffler and Burns are best friends, so he's basically getting other guys acquainted.
01:27I think the internationals did a great job too, like Pendreth, the guy who murders the
01:30ball with Bezoutenhout, who has a good short game.
01:33I think both captains did a good job.
01:34We'll see how it works for America, because if they lose those matches, people are going
01:37to go, why didn't X-Men and Cantlay stay together, and Scheffler and Burns?
