00:00And when you talk about guys who succeed, obviously, when you look at who you want to
00:09back this week, you know, this is an event that it moves around.
00:13It doesn't stay at the same place every year in the FedExCup playoffs.
00:17But one thing stays the same here, Charlie, and that's big dogs usually eat when you get
00:22down to the last 50 and you get to the BMW.
00:25That's just the way it goes.
00:26So even though we've got guys between 30 and 50 who are trying to get themselves to
00:30Atlanta, you had Victor last year, you had Cantlay two years before that, you had Rom,
00:35JT.
00:36That's the last five years of this event.
00:38I'm guessing you're going to go big dog as well, or are you taking someone a little further
00:42down the board?
00:44You know, the guy that I just can't get away from here, because I've just been waiting
00:48to use him all year long, is Victor Hovland, a guy that just was at the end of last year,
00:54he won this event last year, what was an Olympia Fields, I believe in outside Chicago.
00:59And you know, then of course, goes on to win the FedExCup at Eastlake, and then plays fantastically
01:05well in the Ryder Cup, you know, the famous, you know, paired with Ludwig Oberg, beat Scotty
01:09Scheffler and Brooks Koepka, nine and seven, it looks like he's going to be one of the
01:12best players in the world, and then drops his coach, it kind of goes through a real
01:16rough patch at the start of the year, had a good finish the PGA Championship, but outside
01:20of that was not just in the same form he was in the last year, but now finishes tied for
01:25second last week, it all looks like it's starting to click.
01:27And you're talking about like elite approach players.
01:30So guys need to be accurate out the T and then guys are going to need to kind of hit
01:34shots close to make some birdies this week.
01:37That is Victor Hovland, a spade.
01:38So I like Hovland a lot.
01:40But I also like, I just think driving accuracy is going to be really important this week.
01:44So some other guys that I'm looking at, that are in the mix here are Aaron Rye, an incredibly
01:48accurate driver of the golf, the golf ball, I believe he is the most accurate driver of
01:53the golf ball on tour this season.
01:54I like Seth Straka, I like this week, Tommy Fleetwood, I like a lot this week.
02:00And even like a Colin Murakawa, those are kind of the group of guys I'm looking at this
02:04week.
02:05It kind of feels like with Colin, you know, he's a guy that I'm going to back this week.
02:09He's one of he's on my card.
02:11I just feel like he's got to pay this year off with a win at some point, right, Charlie?
02:15Like he had that run from the Masters all the way really, you could say to the Scottish
02:20right before the Open Championship.
02:23I mean, he was in the top 15 every single week, tons of top fives, a couple runner ups.
02:28It just feels like he's earned it, you know, you're going to win something at some point
02:32and this might be the week for him.
02:35You are absolutely correct.
02:36I feel the exact same way.
02:37I said it last week, you know, leading into the FedEx St. Jude Championship of like, maybe
02:41maybe this is the week he picks off a win.
02:43Because if you look at his full season and his results, nobody's played better without
02:48bringing home a trophy, you know, especially in three of those four majors.
02:51So I got to think that it either this week, it's a little bit tougher to handicap knowing
02:57that it's a new course.
02:58We don't know how he's going to play up here.
03:00And I was watching him walk around earlier earlier with his cat, Jack back and kind of
03:04identifying where they wanted to hit some tee shots and looks like they're pretty dialed
03:08in.
03:09But also, if you remember last year, he played great the first two rounds at Eastlake and
03:13had a little struggle on the weekend.
03:14But that's one to where it's a place where he's comfortable if he doesn't get one this
03:17week, I could see him staying in the mix and lifting the FedEx Cup trophy when this
03:22thing's all said and done.
