00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. has already made it public that he is a possible candidate

00:05for the Senate that will run in the 2025 National Elections

00:10under the New Philippines Coalition.

00:13This is what Kenneth Paciente has to say.

00:17President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. introduced the senatorial line-up of the administration

00:23under the Alliance for the New Philippines Coalition.

00:27That was a few days before the filing of the Certificates of Candidacy on Tuesday.

00:31Among the administration's Magic 12 senatorial bets,

00:34DILG Secretary Benher Abalos,

00:36Makati Mayor Abibinay,

00:38Senator Pia Cayetano,

00:39Senator Aimee Marcos,

00:41Senator Francis Tolentino,

00:43former Senator Manny Pacquiao,

00:45Senator Lito Lapid,

00:46Senator Bong Revilla,

00:48Congressman Erwin Tulfo,

00:49and House Deputy Speaker Congresswoman Camille Villar.

00:52Former Senator Ping Lakson and former Senate President Tito Soto are also included in the list.

00:58These are from five political parties.

01:01But the President insisted that the candidates will be united

01:04to support the administration's programs.

01:07They say that elections are a time of division,

01:15destruction, and division.

01:19But, on the contrary, this is what our alliance is striving for.

01:24Because this is a movement

01:28that will join the broadest forces of those who love their country.

01:35That will campaign for a program that will never be left behind.

01:43That will unite the twelve Philippine leaders

01:47who have the courage, effort, and skill to be leaders.

01:52The principle of humanity,

01:55of God,

01:57of the country,

01:58of standing up for the interests of the country,

02:01and for the rights and interests of every Filipino.

02:06The Executive Board also pointed out that even if the administration has its own abilities and skills,

02:12it will still violate them when it comes to the development of the country.

02:16The Executive Board also encouraged the administration to remain faithful to the people.

02:21My only wish is to continue their loyalty and love for the country.

02:30This is the most important priority of the candidates that I look at and think about.

02:37Along with the President's request for the support of the people,

02:41which was supported by the admin-senatorial slate,

02:43the administration's programs will now be able to achieve a better life for every Filipino.

02:52Fellow Filipinos,

02:54they are the line-up of the Alliance.

03:05I have high confidence in their qualities and experiences

03:10that we will be able to support them.

03:13In our efforts and in the continued development of our country,

03:18we will support them.

03:21According to Navotas Rep. Toby Cianco,

03:24who is likely to be the campaign manager of the coalition,

03:26the consideration of winnability

03:30or the ability to win in the selection of the administration's senatorial bets was put aside.

03:34First, it was looked at if the candidate's faith in the government's policies was anchored,

03:40especially in the platform of the new Philippines.

03:42Because if it's winnable and their belief in the laws that should be supported by the President,

03:51of course, we can't just take it for convenience, right?

03:55So what's important here is the support.

03:57The senatorial bets were put aside

03:59because of their affiliation with the coalition under the administration.

04:03We hope that the coalition of the Legislative and Executive Departments will be better.

04:17And of course, we will address all the needs of our fellow Filipinos.

04:23I've heard of several names that will be replaced by me.

04:27Maybe I can't just say it because I just heard it,

04:33but it's up to the President who this is.

04:35I am here to support the projects and programs of the President.

04:42If it's someone I'm with, I will not choose them.

04:46It is expected that the President will have meetings with his campaign depending on his schedule.
